So now that the puzzle itself has been discussed, do we want to make any mention of the email Hiro sends back once you mail the secret address? Once you get it, it seems like the puzzle was a lot of work for a little payoff, unless I'm missing some other secret code here.

it may seem like a little payoff now, but just wait. Anyway, we need to solve the SEA code that was on hana's site and we have to wait for further instructions.

Alexander spoke a bit about the 360 experience, which is a viral marketing campaign through the show's website. He said that all the stories on the site "connect with the show," and provide participants with "real spoilers." He went on to say that this is basically a dry run for an even bigger experience in the works for next year.

In case you don't know, Jessie Alexander is a writer and co-executive producer of Heroes. This interview was at Wizard World in LA. This sounds REALLY wonderful and i cannot wait to see what they do with this.

Are we 100% there's something to solve though? It appears as if the code is a reference number, like an ISBN, that points to a paper document in an archive. The comic that is linked shows that Hana knew where to find the document and has it in hand by the end of the strip. She has whatever it is Bennett was pointing her to. What more could we do at this point? I'm 99% certain we'll learn what the document is in an upcoming webcomic.

THAT is awesome. Perhaps that's why this game has been all over the place on difficulty; its a dry run for next year. I guess the only thing is that if the "prize" for playing is spoilers, then I might not want to play. Half the fun of the show is *not* being able to guess what is next. Would "Company Man" have been half as good as it was if you knew what was going to happen beforehand? Probably not.

In the secret picture in this weeks comic, does anyone else think it now looks like Matt laying on the floor? It appears as though Issac is sitting to the left by the art supplies, Sylar is leaning on the wall at the bottom right, and possibly Peter is standing looking down at Matt with his back to us. This may well be all the players for that big scene.

This is all show related spoilers up until the last episode. Sorry!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Bear in mind that Santiago Cabrera isn't actually going to get his head cut off to film that scene. It may just be that that Santiago is chilling off camera while they film... whatever, with a dummy.

It actually looks more like everyone in this picture are crew, and none of them are actors.

And while we're talking about the show, which is completely off topic here on an ARG forum, I think the best thing about this picture is the new painting. According to Tim Sale, there's "one more painting in the series, but it's secret." The picture on the far left appears to show a man... but it's just too far to make out. Rolling Eyes

Should probably stop talking about the show now.

Destruction
Current mood: annoyed Mad

As some of you may know by now, things didn't go exactly as planned when Ted and Matt "met" Bennet. I didn't want things to get that destructive. I just want answers.

Find out how you can help over at my real blog.

the picture to me looks like a certain asian we know standing over a certain red stain. another thing though.... thought hiro found him in the next room, not right ontop of his floor painting (not a spoiler, happened in like the first episode)
In response to new revelations about "the 15", i still think my idea of F. hiro hiding on a date is cool and possible. time travel is always tricky though. Also looking forward to a "Full" version of this ARG/"Experience", and to the next peice of this big puzzle

I just found out about this game.

Seeing as I tend to know about this stuff before it begins, I'm surprised it took me two months to hear about it. I'm not the biggest fan of Heroes (honestly, up until the more recent episodes, I was ready to punch my television every time I watched it but kept going in hopes it would improve, which is has - a bit), but would have jumped on this game.

Though, after 41 pages of UF talk... what exactly are we doing? It really doesn't seem like This Is Not a Game, nor do they seem to have any sense that any real people are out there. Heck, the way it is going, this game makes the Lost Experience look like the Beast.

Also, can anyone reconcile how the show Heroes actually fits into this mythology? Obviously Hana is acknowledging its existence, but pretends like what happens on the series is REALLY taking place... but yet, Claire only gets 10 hours to film her real life? Maybe I missed something.

Anyhow, I'm Canadian, and NBC seems to have forgotten that we watch the show simultaneously, so all I can do is watch, and I think I'll keep doing so Smile

To follow up on the "Hiro's blog" thing, it wasn't just the "bound by love and death," but also the reference to hiding in 15, and ALSO the "in olden times, we would use courier to send truth" or whatever it was. Connect that with the response you'd get if you sent to timeSPLATprimatechpaper.com, which tells you that you aren't a "seeker of truth," and you can find the connection.

Still, pretty bizarre. I wouldn't have seen it unless it was shown to me.

As i posted above, this current experience has real spoilers about the events of the series. The reason that there isn't much going on in the game is because this current experience is a dry run for an even bigger one next year. All we can do now is watch and wait for anything that comes our way. Who knows, we might get lucky and NBC will hire professionals who don't treat americans(and everyone else who play this game) like second graders.

Yeah I'm a Canuck too...Heroes is getting more extended reality and treating us as if we aren't the intelligent code breakers that we are. But it's apparently just a test this year to see what works and then there'll be a massive ARG (more like extended reality) next year. *eyeroll* Let's hope it's a good one...

I give'em massive kudos for trying, honestly. These ARGs look like hell to put together, so props that they can get ANYTHING off the ground is pretty good.

Thing is, should a dry run be given much pre-launch publicity (though I didn't see it, seems it had)? I can understand the working out of the bugs, but it seems like it hasn't even tried to learn from the mistakes of games which happened just last year (I speak of The Lost Experience almost exclusively, which had its dry run in those fun little Oceanic Airlines websites that only the most ardent internet people would have found.

I just worry that if this one keeps hitting bugs and duds, you may have people not be willing to give it another shot. Extended realities are fine, I enjoy the blogs and the comics and such, I just noticed regular grumblings of discontent from a lot of people over the whole thread and hope they can tie up the game before people are disheartened. Here's hoping they are watching the ARG community for feedback.

Anyhow, all I ever do on these boards is complain. I'll be happier, I swear Smile

Honestly, I don't think that'll be a problem. If they continue to have the same issues next year, then I can see people giving up; but as it stands, they never claimed that this was anything except what it is. If it's going to be bigger and better next year, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, and I think most of the fans will, too; they haven't failed in the quality of the show yet, and that's what counts with most people.

Which is why it would be interesting to know how the solver actually got to the answer... hindsight is always 20/20 Wink once it's solved, you can suddenly see where all the clues were... or even see clues where there aren't any. If the solver actually put all those clues together to get the solve, then *applause*. Well, whether or not they discovered all the clues, they still solved it, so *applause* anyway =P
