Yeah, it would be fairly easy to track. I just don't know how Safe it would be for Eric. LoL. And Nova makes a point-- The cameras were removed and he DETAILED that Apartment spic N span. No camera-No signal.

If the CM was using internet Cafe's then I'm almost positive some kind of surveilence tape will surface. You can't go anywhere in Public without being Video Taped anymore. Well, not anywhere-- but pretty damn close.

And Kelsey, you really should have took my advice. 1.) The CM said keep the letter to ourselves. 2.) Michael Taylor is VERY emotional, and anything small that makes it seem like we are cornering him pops up and he EXPLODES. I hope he spares you, but don't be suprised if you get a nasty answer back from him. LoL.

Do you think the CM sat out in his car with router and his puter and whatever other equipment he needed. and waited all that time to get all that footage... I bet he lives within 200 feet of Erics apt and he is probably useing the same cameras he used to watch Eric... so I'm saying yea it would probably work... He told me once you don't change your furniture just because of your new pet.... I bet he is using the same wireless cameras to moniter Eric. Even if he lives further out than 200 feet a warspying device might come up with the signal. Especially if you drove around his neighborhood with it... I'm just not sure if we should tell michael as he is monitered by the CM somehow.

OMG. Wabonan, I didn't even think of the fact he's still using the same cameras! That is very interesting. You are right-- he could be tracked very easily!

And I wouldn't tell Michael either. I'm still not sure how Tom got the letter from Michael.

lol Erics lives in an apartment.... the cm lives somewhere nearby...near enough to moniter erics apt wirelessly.... the CM kidnaps Eric and removes the cameras.... the Cm uses the wireless cameras to moniter erics pet room in the CM house or apt or basement. a directional antena in Erics apt would show which direction the cm lived. you then need to follow the feed because the CM probablty leaves the cameras on all the time.... are you following me now??/

I know I am. I just jumped to the conclusion that you meant the cameras were still in the apartment. I never thought about him moving them, but still using them. Great work, Wabo.

Anyway, unless someone can get out there in person (and it's never been prompted that we should really do some real-life exploring, so I wouldn't try it), we really don't have anyone that could do this but Michael, and we all know he's got a short fuse. We should probably wait and see if we can get someone a little more helpful before bringing this up. But for now, it's our ace-in-the-hole.

lol Don't worry about it. I put my foot in my mouth too. I intended to leave up my DC edit up long enough for michael to see it then remove it. I figured he would pm me or e-mail me for answers...lol... I think the CM lives close as those cameras only have about a 200 foot max range... also at 200 feet he might pick up static from anything broadcasting on a 2.4 range. so hes probably next door or above him or under him. as they require a reciever and a router also they usually only use 4 different channels the CM had at least 3 , Kitchen, bedroom and livingroom so if you used an auto switch to scan the channels you should have a signal of Eric in his room. I agree michael is the only one that should try this. also we don't know where his apt is and I know I'm not spending several hundred dollars of my money to build the equipment needed... Especially since Eric could have gotten out anytime by kicking through the walls... the studs are usually 18 inches apart by code. and please don't tell me yall haven't knocked a hole in a plaster wall before...lol

No, Neil, I don't think we are suggesting the CM is in Erics Apt. But it is being suggested that the CM lives close by Erics Apt, so he was able to monitor Eric from his own place. With a wireless camera, he could do that. But he would have to live close by. Wabonan suggest maybe above him or below him.

But Wait-- I was thinking... unless the CM monitored the footage from outside of the apt, in his car. Remember the stalking video? He sat out there video taping Eric on his jogs. But we have never heard anything specific about where Eric lives. I have never heard any specific names about places in L.A. or D.C. so I don't think that's the way the game is going just yet. If you want Eric to survive, don't tip anyone off about the whearabouts of the CM or Eric.

Kelsey, I don't think it's a big deal. But anything is possible in this game. And the possibilities are not limited to Michael being up to something. I think we are going to get much more information soon. So we should probably just wait for some confirmation. I really think the CM is trying to tell us something, but I think we have to be patient.

I thought of that also ..It would take alot of footage because of the quality of editing.. I watch youtube alot and the people that have the best looking vids edit like an hour or 2 of stuff to make a couple minute vid and he would have to be real close with a direcional antena also his car would have to be running as I said it would require a powersupply for a computer router and reciever and He would be very conspicuious sitting in his car with it running and a weird antenia pointed a erics apt... I think someone would have called the cops. Just because they would figure it was gang related or a terrorist attack. the clearness of the video suggests he was very close as a 2.4 phone or someone on a wireless router would mess up the signal.

Me thinks, y'all are making a lot of assumptions .... Please rehash this and eliminate some possibilities.

What if the CM has moved. --- Ok we can get the records of people there at the time of the incident.
What if he worked close ? Same difference no record from avaliable sources.
What if he has wireless? I can run a computer with internet connection and a printer in my car. (ooops allready considered)

What if he had access to others computers. A trojan can open computers to others using functions. If the CM had the computer routed local and only videoed or viewed from the car we'd never know.

He has Michaels e-mail --- Thus showing a bit of L33t computer knowledge ---- The letter also refered to current computer tracking being non efficient ...

Questioning Michael will get you definite answers, but think it through and try not to waste time or burn bridges.

I believe a PM on the forums is private enough to let him know what we think, but we may need to establish a confirmed private communication somehow to discuss things privatly. I'm not a computer expert so ill digress on this subject.....

Speculation leads to ideas and a lot of them. Many unfruitfull. Go through them and think a bit. Hold them and mull them through. I did so on the Sue Hart stuff that I was speculating about. I need a few more clues to solidify ideas I have. The way things are currently, there are a lot of possibilities.

Heres one I held, that may be relevant now.

Did the CM not video several days of Eric running? It was prolly an regular occurance. He prolly ran at the same time and same route. I was wondering if the video with the jogger [dont recal the video] was actualy Eric. IE the CM videoed him runing on his regular route / there by / being in close proximity. If the video is of Eric. We need to find a friend that knew his regular jogging route. Or we need Michael to give us Erics address so we can try and figure out his jogging route and thereby find where the CM videoed from. The CM had acces to a somewhat private place with blinds to film that footage.

The CMs video appeared to be directly off a track or near construction site, if you watch the video. Maybe we all should come to a conseus if it is Eric and where it might have been. If we agree it is Eric or a lead to follow, then we need to get Michael to ask those he trusts anything Eric ever said about his jogging. IE route - way to obvious, distance, favorite sights, hardest part, nicest view, time, distance, miles per min ..... ect.......

i agree with llama. we need to sit back and take stock. over the past few pages it seems that we have been given a lot of clues, and things have moved very quickly indeed - hence my confusion as to what is fact and what is speculation. i feel that we havent investigated all the routes we have been given. instead, there is a lot of speculation and we have pissed michael off with it.

it also seems that people arent really listening to each other, and we are pretty much going round in circles as a result. if i wasnt such an ARG noob my trouting arm would be knackered by now. there are several ideas that people have put forward which have been completely ignored and then said again.

sorry if this seems a bit outspoken but since the coded message was intercepted this ARG seems to have gone completely out of control. we need to all get on the same page, think about what we're posting and check every available clue before moving on.

i suggest we go back to the coded message and start again from there.

well let me address the speculation that he moved. The codemaster told me on his first or second video. Do you change your furniture just because you have a new pet?? That answer would be no and so I do not believe he would move because of Eric. but there is a vid here

and just giving the link to michael would not violate the TOS put up by the CM... what michael does with it is up to him... the only problem is that we know michaels computer has a trojan. so the CM would be able to come to the same conclusions as Michael and turn off the cams or use wired cams.... das you need a video reciever as well ..... he could have used a trojan but sitting a hunking reciever on the top of the computer would be obvious.... lol
and remember these cams have a very short range
200 feet is the max that is 67yards... and from the quality of the vids I would guess the reciever is within 100 feet. there is no static... thats only 33 and 1/3 yards away
