Isis

Hi Everyone,

I'm in Ireland and seen this thing last night on "The Dragons Den" and just had to get one, Obviously the hunt for the gold coin aint much use to me as I'm not in the UK, but I really liked the idea and look of the Isis so I ordered one yesterday and it's being sent out YAY.

I just have a question, once you open it, is it possible to close it again so you can then give it to someone else to try figure it out? Or is it once it's open that's it, puzzle over.

I can't wait to get mine in the post.

i have no hair left
cause this damned ball makes me tear it out

I have fiddled with this damned ball since Crimbo Day, and nothing whatsoever has happened. I have deciphered all the clues and the heiroglyphs, but i fail to see the next step. Please, save me from baldness; help me!!! What do I do next? I do not have three ballbearings released, and understand that this is nessesary, but how do i release the third ball??? I am close to putting my smug Isis into a ceramic kiln in school and watching it explode.

You've got to listen to one thing the makers say and ignore another.

Listen to:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The informal clue (ie, not in the list of 10) that tells you to bear in mind the dominant theory of the creation of the universe.

Ignore:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The warning that it's fragile. Within reason, obviously.

newby questions

(posted this per accident also as a new topic....)
Hi,

Two questions from a real newby w.r.t. this kind of puzzles.

I bought the puzzle because I like ingenious engineering and thought, having had puzzles in my hands before that the book surely would contain the "real" solution also.
It doesn't obviously, which irritates me and drove me to the web, where i COULD have found this info before Sad

Well, Then I'll try and solve it. If I still did not solve it when nr 2 comes out, will one of you who solved it send me the solution video ????

An important question for me: I read a lot, and i am aware of the 11'th clue.
I'd rather not ! As a technical person I would also think that I would design an Isis which does not need clue 11, I also saw one post (only one) which hinted at clue 11 being not necessary.

can someone who opened it tell us here: is clue 11 necessary or could it be done by carefully doing the 10 (not needing clue 11)

Thx

Tom
