i know someone working on this, and from what i have been told it's going to be crazy. this is what i know.... everyone who signs up becomes an agent, and after the player count hits 5K in each of the 5 cities that game starts by choosing a spy out of the pool of agents. that spy is visited by the handler who gives the spy 3 envelopes and 300.00 cash, the spy's photo is taken and uploaded, a tracking device is straped to their ankle, they are then let go. from the 3 envelopes marked a-c the spy must start with the first, inside the first envelope a clue, a destination, and a disk..... or whatever, it changes.... the website will start broadcasting a map overlay with the tracking device showing location of the spy on a 20 minute delay to the rest of the players, they are then given a clue to go to the same location....the spy and the agents are after the same thing. The spy must get to the location first to remove the clue before agents get it and recieve greater detail of the next envelopes clue location. if the spy gets it first they can leave behind missinformation, which is contained on the disk in their envelope, they also win a dark hour, from being tracked. Groups of agents will be able to work together with this information/missinformation?

i hear segments are going to be produced on standout players and groups, there is a "reality show format" being created for Television.

this is all i know.

Played around with the email just to see...
If you didn't get a reply, it's probably due to not having anything in the body of your email. Their content filter requires all inbound email to have something in the body.

If you don't, you'll receive an autoreply of a different sort:
Quote:
PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 12): 554 5.7.1 Message cannot be accepted, content filter rejection No body

Which may be in your SPAM folder.

ETA: This may take some time if they need 5000 people from any given city (Did I read that right) and they will need to query us all first, for our particulars.

I sent two emails, one yesterday, one around 3 or 4 hours ago, and still haven't gotten anything in my inbox, or junk mail. Gr. You sent it to the.handlerSPLATspyhunter.tv, correct?

That's the one.
I'm unable to find much in the whois/DNS arena to follow-up.
Anybody else any good with that stuff? The IP address I followed brought up a "toughbook" laptop supplier (mooringtech.com)

Curious thing happened to me...

I sent out an email but sent it to the.hunterSPLATspyhunter.tv, (minor brain flatulence) and got a response back from the.handler saying "access denied, try asking the.handlerSPLATspyhunter.tv" So I sent a response there and nothing. That was about 5 hours ago. Not sure if it's an auto-response for sending to random email addies, but didn't want to go on a fishing expedition (might be considered hacking which I'm against)

Still waiting for a response though. Crossing my fingers that Dallas is one of the cities..

*edit recieved response just a bit delayed. Hooray I'm in!

The website is updated, including a video and a signup form. I thought they said they'd contact us? I've gotten no such contact, and just happened to check the page. Hmph.

I'm grumpy anyway, though, so I could be jumping the gun.

The game is nearing its start but I need your help, interest in becoming an agent has been overwhelming. The site is now live and accepting new Agents. I need you to spread the word. We are starting with 5 major cities, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles and New York First. If you don't live in any of these cities don't despair, games will start in 5 new cities after the current missions are completed. Please sign up on the site and officially enter the game. I may be knocking on your door very soon.
