Has anyone done anything involving the Cube Clues? If so help is greatly appreciated. It seems interesting though. There's just not that much help given by anything. You have to submit the answer via Text.

I have solved all but one of their clues Mexican, it's pretty obvious where this is leading to be honest, I think it does involve someone, not being from the area which keeps cropping up i can get involved in a way and make a complete fool out of myself, and then disappear and not care what happens Laughing , this is too easy to be honest

If anyone needs a step in the right direction, heres a few hints to lead you along the way....

The first clue is a simple cryptography puzzle, exchange the letters for other letters, shouldn't really be too difficult.... but still...

Clue 1 - hint 1

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There are two words which should be quite easy to work out, QTH appears, then QTHM, the first word also begins with the substitute of the letter "Q" (QU)

If you still don't have it then a quick start - clue 1 - hint 2

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the first word is "TO", and QTH is "The"

If you are a bit stuck after solving the clue, then here's what I think it means...

clue 1 - hint 3

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Very Beginning, could mean the start of something, go to the main intro page, and a picture appears during the flash as well as the name of a certain county multiple times

Finally

Clue 1 - Hint 4

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The county is Durham, and during the flash a picture of Durham Cathedral quickly flashes on the screen

Clue Three is a bit of a tricky one unless you know what you are looking for, in this case it is a mouse created in 1987, but where would you start?

Clue 3 - Hint 1

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Possible search into Google maybe will find the way? Also it isn't exactly a world famous mouse, infact it doesn't look like a mouse at all, and I'd never heard of it, but just keep digging

Clue 3 - Hint 2

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Maybe if the search included something worked out previously then the clue would be a bit clearer, and it would all fall into place Wink

Clue 3 - Hint 3

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you still havent found the mouse, then I will tell you it's Nob T. Mouse, maybe there's something interesting about the Creator of the main website for Nob T. Mouse, which fits in with what we already have? Wink [/quote]

Clue Four basically shows a picture of a person, who looks very cold to be honest, and below is a transcript which reads - "This is Dr Bruce" "He Was Found Dead In Mysterious Circumstances In 2003", also evident is the words "TIME OUT" in Blue in front of the picture, and the letters "R" & "S"
Clue 4 - Hint 1

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Why Is He Wearing What He Is Wearing? Could he be doing something which Involves very cold conditions Wink

Clue 4 - Hint 2

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Maybe searching the site, and more importantly, seeing the basic background behind "the game" might be of some help, especially if you link the names you find

Clue 4 - Hint 3

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Try entering the name and find out where someone with that name works, it should be interesting, or maybe you could enter the name of where they might work.

Another approach is that if you know the name of the person in this picture, "which is Bruce Herrod, then again typing in a certain county will lead you to where he got his MSc from, although the actual page is not accessible

Clue two has something to do with hieroglyphics, Ive found the translation, not to sure what to do next though, i assume the 1898 is the letters that need to be put together and solved

-----------------------------------------------

Just a quick note, ive tried to contact the Dr Bruce mentioned on the site and located in the area, but he says that he has nothnig to do with the site Crying or Very sad

inatimate - Bruce Herrod isn't the name of the person in the picture, it's the name of the person who took the picture (the game creators borrowed the picture from another website). Also, the letters across the picture are RGS (you can just make out the G on the man's face), not just RS. RGS stands for where Bruce Herrod worked.

Follow-Me.co.uk has been terminated

just a quick note from the author of this Follow-Me.co.uk hunt, saying it is over:
Quote:
The game was a mess from the beginning, and instead of continuing the game, and keep making a mess of things, I decided to end it - Nothing more sinister than that.

The numbers of people playing did not justify continuing the game, and in its current format was causing more angry people that doing what it was actually meant to (which was a bit of fun).

We handled the whole thing bad, and for that im sorry. We WILL post a soulution to all spheres on this forum eventually, however I cannot at the moment as teh game format no longer belongs to me.

[...snip...]

I have been away for the last week so could not reply sooner, and I have 800 emails to get through today, most of which are offensive personal insults at myself.

Im really sorry again for everything, I really hope things could have been diffrent, unfortunatly there has top be a point when you know when to stop and last week was that time.

This was posted at Quest4Treasure by member Fex2005_uk. They have a discussion thread going over there regarding the remaining solutions.[/i]
