Let's look at this closer...

I agree, the left side could represent the Taylors. If we go with the idea that the squares are male and the circles are female.

The top left group is the Taylors. Michael, Linda, Mary, and Eric. But notice how Eric's square is linked to the question mark...could it represent Sue Hart? Let's assume that it is for a moment.

Look at how "Sue" is linked to another square on the right. So according to the chart, she was involved with someone else while she was also with Eric (leads back to my cheating theory...read like 10 pages for more info).

Also notice that there is a question mark below "Sue". Could this mean that "Sue" had a child?

That unknown square that is linked to "Sue" is linked as a sibling to another question mark. So they have a sibling.

And then the lone sqaure by itself...very mysterious. Leaving a sqaure/circle without a link usually means unconfirmed relations with the person. Or maybe breaking a link to the person, as in disowning them from the family?

All this is theory, btw, it hasn't been confirmed yet. Just brainstorming.

my 2 cents:

if sue hart is on this chart (and she should be), its unlikely that she would be old - didnt we confirm this earlier?

anyway, that means that she has to be either of the circles in the bottom half of the chart, but if shes young she wouldnt be 2nd generation to so many people, which rules out the middle circle. and shes too old to be the question mark at the bottom. so im thinking lowest circle or top 2 question marks, but i would agree with summer on which one it is.

Its definatly best to figure out this glyph..but what do we do once we figure it out...If it is possible TO figure it out.

Summer, you seem to be the one that's knowledgable on pedigree charts.. what's the little offset one on the middle part mean? As in, between the parents and the question mark, it comes out to the right and shows more children.

the weird middle bit could be because they had more than 2 children - hence having to move them slightly up or down to fit in the chart. maybe?

That could be, but could the slash be like the blue shapes on the Wikipedia chart? "Affected individuals.." affected, not necessarily deceased. This could mean the middle could be the Taylors.. considering both Michael and Eric have been directly affected by the CM.

Just thoughts though. I still think the Taylors are on the left. Haha.

I had a theory that the cm was killing a whole family as some of the people look alike. that was before michael came along and said no one else had been murdered in his family.

Yeah, I remember that. And that's why my idea really didn't make sense. But it seemed good at the time. Haha. I'm trying here. It really just seems like we don't have enough characters to fit this chart.

EDIT: Would now be a good time to contact Michael and ask about any distant relatives?

I just noticed something weird on the finderictaylor websight. when you PM someone there is an autocomplete feature for the subject that lists the subjects of messages that people other than myself sent.... I was trying to pm michael to see if he looked at the vid link I sent him and this title autocompleted
