 		A tiny little request.
Hello all. I know I haven't been around much lately, and those of you who know me know that I'm not ordinarily in the habit of random shilling, but I wonder if a few of you can take a moment or two out of your day and sign a simple little petition.

It's for a family I know, albeit indirectly, who have been grappling with some pretty serious medical bills and are trying to get on ABC's Extreme Home Makeover as a way to re-jumpstart their sole practitioner businesses. I don't have the slightest idea if these sorts of petitions actually work, as anything other than a mechanism to generate a critical mass of names, but since it costs nothing to sign I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. If you have identity-protection concerns, you could certainly designate your signature as anonymous and use an email addy which functions as a spamcatcher, or something...but I'd appreciate it if you would at least take a look.
