I got a reply.

Quote:
Maria! tout à fait le cinquième

Now, I know Babelfish isn't the greatest applet ever, but this is what I get when I run his reply through the French to English translation applet.

Quote:
Maria! completely the fifth

Had a friend look at the French and she said that Babelfish's translation was literally correct ("Maria, completely the fifth!"), but that it might be a reference the something like "the 5th floor!".

ETA: Or, "taking the 5th!" Wink

perhaps it's meant to read "Ave Maria" - meaning the song? it could be the complete text of the fifth line, or something like that.

Its difficult, because theres so many different versions of the song.

One version claims the 5th line would be:

"This thou, this thou can't save amid, despair"

Theres so many different results from this though.

The origional poem, has Dominus tecum which I think means god be with you, or god is with you.

Not sure though.

EDIT:

Oh and I searched for Manhattan Project and maria. I was just throwing ideas around.
There WAS a Maria involved in the Manhattan project. Her name was Maria Goeppert Mayer

link here

Not sure if its relavent

To the best of my ability - here is what they said

Hello this is Visce Enterprises, I understand Kane has contacted you through his emails, through his emails we have been notified that Mr. Kane who had hacked into our sever before...... we are deeply sorry for this inconvienence and I would like to apologize for his misdemeanors, however please do forget what he told you, this has been none of his concern or the public's concern. Sorry once again.... Bill Kim, Representative, Corespondence of Visce Enterprises.

Edit - I have caller ID the number that called me was (612)524-0455

An operator transcribed the message to me, after explaining what a relay call was.

786 162 47200
786 1626 47200
Linda, I know they told you things.

I Asked - Is this Kane?

Kane - Things that are not true, You and your friends are the only ones that can do this - this is Kane

Me - What can we do to help
Kane - 786 1626 47200, you must look at your inner eyes to see whats true, I must leave, remember things I have told you.
Me - I will remember & I will tell my friends
Kane - Also Maria will be a good help to you, you know where to find her?
Me- can you help me find her?
Kane - cout a fate a selcme ave, I cannot provide you much... I must leave, they are on my heals.

Call came in at 5:57pm pacific time, from (216)416-0033 and again another relay call. Also the only way they got my name was from my yahoo email - I had sent Kane an email back on March 7th. I never left my phone number but it is listed! wow, wow, wow also the cout a fate part, that was how the french in earlier posts sounded spoken.

I have no idea what the string of numbers meant that Kane gave me but I did a google map search and found that they go to an address in France and located there is Plantine Communication. Pretty sure that is not what the numbers were meant to lead to, but with him speaking in French and then this in France?? Kane needs our help we have ten days left! We need to find Maria.

By the way, the second time the string of numbers (786 1626 47200) was read, the operator did leave off the 4th number (786 162 47200) in the second set of numbers, it wasn't a typo. I don't know if that was an operator error or if that was intentional and the spaces between the numbers were pauses when the numbers were being read.

http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=786+1626+47200&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=nl is the google map result for 786 1626 47200

The numbers (using 1626 for the middle one) don't have any common factors except for "2", because they're all even.

If I use 162 for the middle number, all three share factors of "2", "3" and "6".

The numbers aren't divisible by one another and don't appear to be any kind of a sequence I can see (They don't come up in the AT&T Sequences database, either.

I can't relate them to any geospatial coordinates (The Google Maps match in France is just a Google fluke) or to any of our previous map points. And they don't have a common thread as uF posting numbers.

"cout a fate a selcme ave" is beyond my web translation skillz. It looks French, to me but Polyglot has a 1% certainty (In other words a wild guess) that it's Votian, a nearly extinct Estonian dialect with a dozen current speakers in the world. "selcme" isn't in any of the Votic-English dictionaries I could find.

Could it be a form of Latin? That would tie in with the Ave Maria theme better.

Finally, there was a cipher in the middle ages called "Ave Maria" but it used the names of angels as selected letters in a large text. The name substitutions were apparently on numbered tablets that I can't find online, anywhere. The Verdun Altar looked like it might hold something for a while, but didn't pan out.

That's all I've tried and failed at.

"cout a fate a selcme ave"

Is this an ear translation?

Seems to me it should start "ecoute a fait a"... if I recall correctly the "T" in fait isn't pronounced unless followed by something specific (don't ask me what - been out of school a long time Smile )

Ecoute means listen in French, which would fit in with the whole "listen to the savior", "listen to your inner eyes"....thing.

selcme isn't French, so I'd be interested in how it was heard - spelled out phonetically....

found this on http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~rja14/Papers/ieee99-infohiding.pdf and am gong to keep searching

A. Security through obscurity
By the 16{17th centuries, there had arisen a large literature
on steganography and many of the methods depended
on novel means of encoding information. In his
four hundred page book Schola Steganographica [30], Gaspar
Schott (1608{1666) explains how to hide messages in
music scores: each note corresponds to a letter ( gure 4).
Another method, based on the number of occurrences of
notes and used by J. S. Bach, is mentioned in [11]. [b]Schott
also expands the `Ave Maria' code proposed by Johannes
Trithemius (1462{1516) in Steganographi, one of the rst
known books in the eld. The expanded code uses forty
tables, each of which contains 24 entries (one for each letter
of the alphabet of that time) in four languages: Latin,
German, Italian and French. Each letter of the plain-text
is replaced by the word or phrase that appears in the corresponding
table entry and the stego-text ends up looking like
a prayer or a magic spell. It has been shown recently that
these tables can be deciphered by reducing them modulo
25 and applying them to a reversed alphabet [31].

It was what I heard and is what Esteed got in a reply see his earlier post "tout à fait le cinquième" means "completely the fifth" with ave at the end of it. So it could mean 5th avenue?

Sorry if it was confusing, I was so excited to get it up, I didn't explain it well

But these are two completely different phrases. Question

Quote:
"cout a fate a selcme ave"

"tout à fait le cinquième"

"tout" is very different from "cout", which is why I thought perhaps the word spoken was "ecoute" [pr: eh-koot] [means: listen]

When it was spoken, did it sound like "koot" or "kowt".

The "fait" in the written phrase is pronounced "feh"... the "T" is silent.

So if you heard "fate" it might be "fete" [pr: feht] [means: celebration/festival/party].

"cinquieme" is pronounced "sank-e-yem" which sounds nothing like the "selcme" you posted.

So I was wondering if you could post what you heard in a phonetic format? How did you hear "selcme"?

Sel-sa-may? Selk-me?
