The placentas weren't aligned properly in the first place, so I suspect it's faulty, and if this sounds like a case of sour grapes, yes it damn well is!

Hang on though - the placentas have just moved 1cm apart... now it's stuck. Any ideas, anybody?

thats a good thing from there you:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
press the plunger in to try and move it back to the original place, then go back the other way, if you do it right it will simply unscrew

i think i have released the third ball bearing via 11th clue, when i do this the balls of string will move 1 cm apart, from here how do i get to the stage where the plunger will only go down a couple of mm?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
mixture of the symbol alighnments and the big bang, not really sure how that works being as the bang's i created weren't nearly powerful enough to knock out the magnet

now i cant seem to get it

btw guys if u havent cracked the isis yet u won't know wat i mean in next spoiler jus steer clear

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
i think the anticlockwise clue has something to do with the maze, perhaps the centefugal force moves the ball bearings

herrad, which way up do u hold the isis when you try to get through the maze? i hold it
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
upsode down

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
no right way up plunger facing up i mean, that'll drop it into maze then turn it so plunger faces away from u also u can make the maze out on the xrays posted a bit back, its damn hard to hear it runnin through but the xrays show that u pretty much have to jus keep the plunger facing away and rotate the isis so the placenta ove anticlockwise

Alot of you are getting very hung up on the maze, don't worry to much about it. Make sure you decrypt all then clues, and read them carefully, very carefully.

Its easy, honestly. And don't force it, there really is no need.

The clue that was posted here art "Thu Apr 05, 2007 9:16 am" is very useful, I opened it once I read that.

me neither

I also have the third ball,
the plunger goes only halfway, but the placentas do not move apart
only a very little bit (like a lock that has some tolerance)

reading everything, I also do not think that that is very important, being able to move only indicates the third ball is in play, and does not "lock" the two halves anymore.

But now I am not getting anywhere..

Pushing very hard (through the resistance or "spring") silences all balls. I think this is not the solution.

Pushing moderately (against the spring) silences one ball, and the other (s?)can be heard moving.

then rotating, coming to the point where also the last ball stops being heard,
Then I don't know,
nothing moves, clicks, etc etc....

I am to the point where I just want it opened to admire the inner working, I could not care less about the prizecoins/pyramids etc..

Anyone want to PM me?? Smile

Tom

Wisemoron, it was through the dint of several very hard bangs on a table. Annoyingly I left it with a colleague while I went out on a job and she got it to that stage, but it locked.

ok this is the same guy who gave the 9:16pm info, right when you have the plunger halfway down you:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
hold the plunger pressed down, then turn the whole isis upside down and shake it until the 2 ball bearings go quiet, then press the plunger (while still holding upside down) slightly harder, it should depresss all the way and you hear a click, then turn the isis the right way up and while holdting down the plunger unscrew the isis!

tell me if it helps
