A brand new update to Hana's blog has just appeared.

Pay close attention. This is important. It may be the most important thing we ever do.
The Petrelli election is being rigged. Linderman owns the company that designed the new voting system purchased by the New York State Voting Authority. Linderman's top software engineers have created a "logic bomb" to tamper with the results, but I think one of them may have turned and hidden the log-in information on the web.
I was able to link to the backend of the voting system's remote interface. Below are the locks. We need to find the keys. But this is beyond hacking into a firewall - the codes are buried deep.
I'm investigating further and will be in touch tomorrow with information that should help us get inside and put a stop to Linderman's plans.

Now, this does sound like a hell of alot of fun. We finally get a really interesting puzzle. Not the other puzzles so far have been terrible, but this one looks more interesting.
Let's get started, shall we?

Heroes doesn't return to NBC until the 23rd of April.

well, fairly meta: out of curiosity, I checked the flash source of the 'locks', and thankfully they're well coded. The password you enter is hash checked and sent after asking for a name and email, to nbc. So I'm guessing once you get all 3 passwords right, you're registered to some degree with NBC as having solved it all correctly. Nice

OK, I am a little bit confused here... if I bring my cursor to the "submit" area and right click on play, it says that I have guessed right and asks me to enter my ID. Is this a glitch or a way to move forward???

What was that about "well coded"?

no, because the password you enter is sent along with your name and email - the check for whether your password is correct is simply by hash. But if you hit play and submit anyway, your name and email will be sent, but they can still verify that you entered the wrong password.
So yes, unless you hack the flash and reverse lookup the MD5 hash, we still need to figure out the correct password. Entering anything won't actually work beyond tricking and skipping the flash MD5 check.
ie, by hitting 'play', all you did is skip the password check. But your info is still sent with a blank code entry - and they'll know you didn't enter it correctly.

heyas It's been a LONG time since I have been on these forums. I played the first matrix ARG when that was out and played perplexcity for a while when that started. I watched heroes tonight and saw the card so I naturally went to the website.. knew straight off it was an ARG and decided to come back to the forums ~ (mind you Australia is behind the rest of the world in regards to the series)
yey! haha

First password was solved over at 9th wonders
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
CLSx172
Apparently it was a code that was flashed on one of the side by side commentaries of a show aired some time ago.

nice, looks like the passwords will not be easy to 'guess' either. Any meaning to the password?

if you block copy and paste, you may have copied a space at the end. Try just typing it in (caps where necessary)

Thanks *headhand* I sometimes do that.
Edit: Yep that's what I did.
