I've got nothing here. I took a screencap of the car/parking lot and tried messing around with it in image editing programs, but I can't seem to get much of anything out of the writing on the car or on the surrounding signs.

Mike read your mind. Or your post.

I hope I can offer both a little encouragement and a suggestion. Firstly, there's a lot to like here: an interesting story, intriguing characters, a nice quick pace, and fascinating clues which shed light on the story without any cliche video-game-style "here comes a puzzle" moments.

Now, a suggestion: perhaps the reason there's relatively little interaction on Mike's MySpace is that Mike tends to post things--blogs, videos, etc--and then quickly delete them without warning or apparent reason. If these surprise deletions are integral to the way the story is supposed to unfold, then so be it, but people aren't likely to spend their time coming up with profound and interesting things to post just to find that the whole thing has vanished into the aether five minutes later.

Just my two cents, and remember, what's there is great.

Mike's new update.

4-10

I've received a lot of messages lately asking me to stop deleting the posts that the hacker is leaving. While I disagree, because this is my blog, I'd rather leave a few worthless posts up than have a thousand and one people complaining to me.

No offense to any of you, of course, but it's hard to find a message where somebody genuinely needs something when you're sifting through fifty or so of the same "Lave it up!" messages.

So, from this point forward, I will no longer be editing my entries (unless it's something minor, like spelling), nor will I delete my entries, edit the hacker's entries (they can correct their own spelling for all I care, really), or delete the hacker's entries.

Now that's more like it. I'm sure I wasn't the only one to suggest that, though.

PS: For all those who wanted an ARG about fluffy bunnies, perhaps a card game can suffice until one comes along: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/3699

 An Unupdate

For some reason the site's of Mike's new "Friends" have had major parts deleted, as well as one character being completely wiped out. Now word why yet. I've got the text of their conversations for future research though so it's not a total loss. Still strange though...

Wow, I've just started reading through the Myspace pages. These games are seriously twisted and unique. I think I'm in love.

Has anyone else seen HeyZeus' new picture? Iffy photoshop work, but it's still disturbing.

Somebody Broke The Rules. The Contract Has Been Breached. No Longer Will I Play By The Rules, Either. May Riuma Rise, Once Again.

Wow it's on like Donkey Kong! If he thinks his tricks will work anymore than he's underestimating our prowess. I say we Brute Force him and see if he can handle his own.

RIUMA converts over to JAMES using an 8 letter shift Caesar Cipher... That can't be good.

Very quick. Things are heating up on the Old MySpace servers.

I found this forum by randomly glancing through the Something Awful forums, basically I'm not financially endowed enough to afford an account there(I think the term 'broke' fits), but I figured I'd put in any bit of info I could to help, cause damn this is just fun.

Anyway, I had a look through some of the posts over at SA, and I noticed that some folks tried to look for hidden messages in HeyZeus' animated gif, I was wondering, has anyone tried to do that with the new picture? It's probably a shot in the dark, but that Q says to me that there's more to it than meets the eye.

I tried playing around with different color filters and whatnot, but I couldn't find anything, and I don't have a clue how to use that program for finding hidden messages. Can't hurt to try, right?

Just in case he changes his mind.
Heyzeus' new blog

Wednesday, January 04, 2006

I have to stay awake.

I'm trembling as I write this, every day now it seems like I sleep longer and longer. I know that's when they take charge, I'm drinking coffee and eating coffee beans, I don't want to sleep any more. I can't take this, I mean, what if I do it again? Dad's gone, so are the other two. They said I only have one more before it's my time.

I don't want to sleep, I'm so scared.

When I woke up I saw this image on my desktop, I don't know what it means, but it can't be good.

I too haven't the finances to afford the SA forum so I've hijacked this thread for us SA Lurkers. Feel free to discuss the strange things you might notice. The more people we can get together the stronger we'll be.

Who broke the rules, how and why?

In response to the burning question of what the hell Mike is talking about you'll all have to ask what could he be talking about? Someone playing around here has done something to piss EvilMike off enough to declare marshal law. If you're the person who did this, and you know who you are, you have to tell us what you did. To make him break down two days early is something of a feat, Bravo. If, however, Mike is just saying this to move the plot along then He was going to do something like this anyway. We'll just have to wait and see how the secondary characters react. HeyZeus, I'm looking at you.

I find it a bit odd that Mike did that spiel about broken rules shortly after HeyZeus posted his blog... Maybe Zeus did something Mike didn't approve of.

Maybe the person in Zeus' picture was one of the people he "drained", and wasn't supposed to do so. Maybe Zeus knows of these rules.

Fake edit: Posting as guest because I don't feel like registering, as I doubt I'll post here much.
