Well, to be honest, Star Trek did have quite a bit of stories regarding Temporal Anomalies & time travel, in both The Original Series, the Movies (IV), and The Next Generation... anyone who is a fan of the series (enough to bring up Worf in a Transformers Movie Message Board), probably knows enough to B.S. his way through a conversation...

Wasn't there some really f**ked up time travel stuff in Star Trek Enterprise?

Honestly? As big of a fan of Trek that I used to be, I only watched a handful of Enterprise episodes... (Sucks too, as a kid I loved Quantum Leap)...

But, this brings us off track...

OK, not to take away from RisingDragon11's thunder (it was his thread, heck his POST over at SSS that made me take notice of it)... But what is known about the "Days Since A Security Breach" sign?

By toying around with my computer's clock, I found out that the date will 'change' at 7:46-7:47pm Central Standard Time. Mind you, noone comes to update the board, nor does it change on its own; but if you open a new browser window to Sector 7's site (via "FWIFFO"), the "days without a security breach" will have gone up a day...

Does anyone know what they were refering to that happened on Feb. 2nd? (67 days ago?)

EDIT: OK, first rule of ARGing, check your history... According to the timeline at Sector7.wikibruce.com, this is the day that the email regarding "the pizza delivery boy" went out...
Quote:
Subject B11-9981 was apprehended after gaining access to the facility. Video-recording equipment was confiscated (see attached footage) and the subject interrogated.

Subject claims to be "just the pizza boy" and to have no affiliation with Agent X. He has been released so his activities can be monitored 24/7.

A new security protocol has been implemented, effective immediately:

99-J4XY: No take-out deliveries.

Please see that all agents and employees adhere to the new directive. Failure to comply will result in immediate transfer to N44E for an undisclosed period.

Ah, thanks for that, now I won't waste time watching for someone coming to change it... Rolling Eyes

It was also the day that their experiment with a known nbe's spark caused it to go haywire and kill 2 people and damage the cell that it was being kept in. This was revealed in Rebecca's video of the damage of the cell and a subsequent conversation with Powers. From what I've read on SSS, it was Rumble, brother to Frenzy and friend of Soundwave who has claimed his "little ones" are out there, and that he has lost all contact with Rumble.

Judging from Frenzy's form in the "Hidden" trailer, if Rumble had the same bot configuration, he could have caused the damage seen in the video.

EDIT: Plus you'd think THE BIG HOLES SCRAPED into the walls on either side of the sign would indicate where that sign is located Screwy

Embarassed Yes, I noticed the big gashes in the wall around the sign, and had put 2 & 2 together, (only to get 5 in this scenerio)...

I knew about the NBE, didn't realize it was Rumble though... (I'd assumed it was Frenzy, but has it been confirmed to be Rumble, or is this all from 'Soundwave'?)

And, as for any NBE on SSS, I'm taking them all with a grain of salt at the moment, I withhold judgment on them until they've revealed something helpful and concrete... that proves they are really IN GAME CHARACTERS, and not some kid playing with us -AgentX2 anyone?-... (although I will admit, 'Soundwave' is interesting & entertaining!)

I'm still inclined to think that Starscream and Megaman are valid ingame characters, all the ones that have actually had reasonable things to say and then you have the handful of players that are also intelligent, making it atleast worth a read. Including Risingdragon and Andrusi, not so much the other guys.

Still, I'm waiting for the actual sectorseven site to have some new stuff. Is it just me or do they do a big update every five days?

Video on March 26th, Video on April 1st, Email update on April 6th. Maybe those were coincidences. Still I think it's about time for a new site password, I can't help but think we may have missed one though.

'Bout time you got over here, risingdragon11. Welcome!

If you haven't read through the 40+ pages we've got going on this, let me sum up our thoughts on the SSS (StopSectorSeven website/buzznet.com) - there's a lot of noise there and it's really hard to discern in-game content from the B.S.

It's cool you got mentioned in Agent X's last transmission, but even that we are having a hard time believing. Some people have claimed to have received that email, most others have not...

I recieved that email as well, I was kind of surprised that I was mentioned in it as I hadn't done much yet on SSS. Either way, SSS is getting cluttered with nonsense, what with all those wannabe NBEs. I'm hoping for a new password or podcast or something CREDIBLE soon.

Oh and guy above me, I don't think agentx2 will come here, he's really not that intelligent...

(Just to lend in my support: I got that email as well and forgot to mention it)

i got that mail as well...

Sorry, what was the content of this e-mail? Anything good?

And, if there is a 5 day window for updates, it hasn't happened yet. I just went through the site and didn't find anything out of the ordinary. It's nearly 7 am central time for the States and nearly 9 pm my time in Korea on 11 Apr.

You know, what gets me is people saying that we've had this password for "like 3 months"...it's only been two weeks...maybe 3.

Yeah and when I posted it was 7PM my time on the 11th of april (I'm in Eastern Australia) and 3AM Mountain time in the states (which (I'm not sure why I think this either) is the time zone I believe S7 operates with. Therefore I'm willing to bet that if they do update today, keeping in mind it was just speculation on my end anyway, they still have most of the day ahead of them.

As for passwords, Yeah we have had this password for three or so weeks. I just recall that the other passwords changed quicker than this one but I'm probably wrong. Just call me eager to find out more. Weekly updates on ILB's drove me insane too.

if you remember, the other passwords were due to security measures being taken (and meta- the actual flash interface was being upgraded each time). Now we have one password for Snup who's in holding at N44E, and one password for Network Security; the latter being the only one getting updated at the moment. I doubt we'll be getting new passwords for those S7 Staff unless S7 discovers that those passwords have been hacked. If we get a new one, it'll likely be for someone new.

Yeah. I think you're right actually. I was not thinking along those lines.

someone on SSS, cant recall who exactly, figured out that the "Days Without Security Breach" sign updates daily at 7:47pm. Is it a coincidence that the Transformers propaganda movie comes out on 747?

They have also figured out using simple math and available information that the most recent "security breach" was the pizza boy, while the nbe allspark experiment that went wrong occured on March 16, 2006 or 16/03/06

...the exact countdown time has been known since the video was first released, posted in the other thread. It counts full days exactly from Feb 2, 2007, 6:47pm, on the user's computer (it doesn't account for timezones). Verified from the flash source, and just re-tested it to the minute.
The significance of the date and time (other than the actual breach)...who knows

I'm thinking though, if you look at the numbers

02 02 2007

7 4 7

03 16 2006

if its some kind of cypher like the one Soundwave has been using.
