[Trailhead] BA Saint Feline - BSeeingU.com
Looking for the truth? Ask the cat lady.

I received an envelope in the mail today from someone named BA Saint Feline. There was a ton of stuffed packed into this envelope. The post card included leads to the site www.bseeingu.com.

Oh, and here's the whois info if you're into that kind of thing...

Since so many people on chat are eagerly awaiting this post, I'll let the images speak for themselves. Here are the first few. I'm still scanning some of the pages, so there's more to come...

Yay. Smile

Okay, here's what I've seen. Sorry if you've already all figured this out in chat. /IRCphobic

Looks like a phone number in the 'postcardfront.jpg' image.

321-249-0216

It appears that the sender, BA Saint Feline, offers some kind of psychic reading services (though she appears to consider herself a messenger of the truth, or something like that) over the phone at an hourly charge. (postcardback.jpg) She used to have email services, but those have been cancelled. She also accepts meetings at her house in Cassadaga. (http://www.bseeingu.com)

BA Saint Feline is currently working on another project.

Sweetness. Ben Stove was awesome, so I'm really looking forward to this.

For my own benefit I did a bit of transcription, here it is in case it helps anyone.

Letter:
Quote:
Michelle,
Night falls and the dream comes. Every night, I find myself in the same place - a fallen(?) city. There you are, alone and trapped in a sea of dark smoke. You struggle to get outside, to breathe, to get away from the garage(?). The air is still heavy, but you can see. People are walking towards the mountains. They say that is the way towards freedom. You have to tell(?) the others(?). Find them. Save them.

Seeing you,
B

On page 274 of Monsters of the Sea, circled in red marker (parentheses indicate circle):
Quote:
man-po(wered octopus)

On page 45 of The Outsider, in red marker:
Quote:
Stagnation

245, 3, 10

Circled on page 155 of Supernatural Horror in Literature:
Quote:
marvels
lonely
Ghost

Yay! An ARG with sea monsters, Lovecraft, and CATS! Very Happy

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this. For now, my brief observations is that 321 is a Florida code and does appear to cover Cassadaga, so that's all in order (I could be wrong though...). I'd love to give it a call but a 1 hour call to FL from the UK sounds a bit pricey...

phone number
i called, she sounded nice

Ooooooh, this looks rad! Exciting stuff from a very exciting team.

I just called the phone number. A voice message from BA. She sounds very personable and pretty normal.

"If you are looking for the truth, you have come to the right place."

She says that all phone services have been discontinued but I can leave a message if I like. Something about "tell me all about your dreams. You certainly wouldn't be the first."

I left her a message saying that I would like to talk more with her, but I didn't leave any contact info so she will have to call or text me. I'll definitely let ya'll know if anything happens.

Holy wow. I got a package. Shocked Silly

(I am SO easily pleased, apparently, but that just somehow got rid of my Impending Migraine. Very Happy )

So, I've got a page from The Shadow Over Innsmouth, with "Conflict 95, 35, 11" written on it in red marker.

And a page from Monsters of the Sea (Leviathan vs. Kraken chapter, for those who share my sea creature fetish), with "prey" circled in red marker.

I also got a coin, postcard, and "You Are Providence" slip like Varin's.

And a Craigslist printout.

And a torn flyer or magazine page with an ape and a naked chick in a slightly disturbing position. Razz (The back is discussing the way simian features have been used by political cartoonists to lampoon public figures.)

More Lovecraft...pages 95-96 of At The Mountains Of Madness. Nothing circled.

Pages 25-26 of different edition of same; "hostile" is circled in red.

Pages 37-38 of the Fall 2006 issue of 2600 Magazine, a question and answer column of some sort. Nothing circled.

And a personal letter. I'm apparently a little better off than Varin, since instead of being "alone and trapped in a _____ of dark smoke," I'm part of an exodus leaving behind a burning city. (Sorry, Varin. Wink We'll be sure and send someone back for you...)

Photos to follow after dinner.

All right, PMs, you've sucked me out of my ARG-playing hiatus. Wink

Because I am a profesional Horror geek, I know that this picture that Varin got is *drumroll*

From the 1931 film frankenstein! And is the monster.

I knew my weirdness would come in handy Laughing

Pic for refrence:

Edit: found the full image on IMDB: Picture link here

I need serious Horror Film therapy. Do they do rehab for that sort of thing? I really need a hobby if I can tell what the picture was from a pair of legs xD

Wow lovecraft and monsters, Im in heaven!

I identified one picture, right while cissmiace came up with the same info:
"side one of torn paper" shows a picture of Boris Karloff as The Monster in Frankenstein (1931).
The caricatures on the back might be reprints from the book "Croquis parisien" (1880) by Joris-Karl Huysman.

I'll be here if I find another hint and someone doesn't get it finished earlier...
