Re: Imbri's piece of the puzzle

I'm thinking that Imbri's piece of the puzzle was decoded with the wrong method. My reasoning is everyone that didn't receive .jpg files seems to have decoded their clue into a word. Using the phone method, there was no match for the first supposed ISBN number, and the others (AIE) don't seem to be a part of any english words I can think of.
I think we need to go back to the drawing board here and try some other way to decode her piece.

Sorry Diandra, there was a slight correction on cd.org. However it still doesn't clear it up entirely.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
dashcat noticed that it was ?AKE
so, lets try it again.
1KNETWEDT9 1TVJWBU0TH 0T1QNHCVHM 0T0H11JGTM
are imbri's code words.
if we convert it letters to numbers on the phone pad, we get
1563893389 1885928084 0817642846 0804115486
taking these numbers to amazon.com
STILL NOTHING "Alchemy Unveiled" "Kinetic Theory" "Enigma"
giving us ?AKE.
I think this is the correct interpretation, because the Alchemy number is also used in Necessitas letter, and the Enigma was also used in Cortana and Jamesi's letter.
So I have a 90% confidence that 1563893389 is either a out-of-print book, or someone made a typo.
If it was supposed to be one of the letters we already had (ACDEGHIKLMNOST) then I think 1563893389 would have been more similar to a # we already had.
Code:
0071357432 Lost 0804115486 Enigma
0131014005 Nanotechnology 0814403948 Implementing
0195116445 CMOS 0817642846 Kinetic
0393317552 Going 0827371764 Masonry
0486227812 Osiris 1563893389 (nothing )
0525946640 Secret 1885928084 Alchemy
0679444815 Timeline 1892746026 Hysteria
0782129447 Dungeon
So, I SPEC that it is supposed to start with a letter we don't have (BFJPQRUVWXYZ)
So it could be BAKE, FAKE, JAKE, RAKE, or WAKE.

New Einstein jpg I just received an Einstein jpg. According to the messanger this is a resend. Either there was something wrong with the original one or Einstein is very important to the game.
By the way Landau, Luckman and Lake have a profile page on Yahoo and you can instant message them.

I think I may have figure out the book prob....but plz be easy with me if I'm wrong...
Doing a bit of research on how ISBNs are put together and the "check" numbers (http://www.isbn.spk-berlin.de/html/userman.htm), I believe the only way this number can sit is like this:
1 56389 338 9
You must do a calculation like this:
1x10=10
5x9=45
6x8=48
3x7=21
8x6=48
9x5=45
3x4=12
3x3=9
8x2=16
9 (the last digit or "check" digit)x1=9
You have to add up the results and it has to be divisible by 11 to be a valid ISBN number. Using 9 is not. Nor is 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1.
Only 10 validates as a Check Number. And X is used to denote a Check# of 10.
X on the telephone keypad is 9
They've reversed it.
I think the book is ....Justice League: A Midsummer's Nightmare

In the Kennedy pic, maybe they're using the word "RUBY", there is a range in NEVADA called The RUBY MOUNTAINS (which kind of goes with the mountain pic).

Even though what I posted in re: to imbri's lost letter, when looking at the whole picture "J" doesn't seem to make as much sense as ....say a "T" in the overall context of the words we know.
As I don't know diddly about encoded pics....I've been doodling with the words that might be associated with them.
EINSTEIN- Inventor/Genius/72 (which translates to SC or PA on the phonepad)
MOUNTAIN-Mount/Hill
KENNEDY- Ruby
JOHNHOPE- Hope/"Whether"/Forecast
Maybe the "P" is indeed be the P from HEL?, because the only valid ISBN for that "?" set of numbers is: Garden Furniture and Ornament. And HELG doesn't make much sense. (That's assuming the number that could be "missing" is at the end)
Anyway....just some thoughts.

0814403948 on Amazon .com is "Implementing Your Strategic Plan: How to Turn 'Intent'
into Effective Action for Sustainable Change"
which should give us "I"

I found the file in Einstein! I was able to desteg the Einstein photo! It doesn't need a password. I used the jphs software that is posted in the unfiction tutorial.
The message reads:

"God does not play dice."
Boy, I am so excited
