it's definitely for Hidden Palms. The "Nobody Likes a Stalker" commercial showed on Smallville tonight, and then a different one repeating "Nothing Changes Until it Changes" showed on Supernatural. The second one flashed a beachy scene and a blond boy who is definitely the same as the boy shown here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidden_Palms

This commercial was shown during supernatural. IT is the first time i've seen it. EXCEPT it wasn't the same commercial as you guys were talking about it.
This one was saying "No one likes change" and had some really creepy images. One inparticularly was a demom faced man.
I was watching the commercial in Slow mo because it just all went by too fast. It was the only way i could catch the website. If it wasn't for my DVR i would have missed it completely.
I then immediately went searching and this site was the only thing that popped up under google.
This really has me curious.. I hope it doesn't let me down in a month.

08NOVA - Palm Springs The setting of whatever this is, appears to be set in Palm Springs California.
During their "Nothing Changes" ad - which aired tonight during Supernatural on the CW - you can see terrain that is native to southern california - golf being played, which is very prominent in SoCal - and most importantly, windmills as the ad ends, which are one of the most distinct sites when entering the Coachella Valley, and ultimately, Palm Springs itself.
I grew up in Palm Springs, and I am positive that is the place.
Thoughts?

Re: 08NOVA - Palm Springs I AGREE IT'S IN PALM SPRINGS I TOTALLY AGREE IT HAS TO BE PALM SPRINGS. I ALSO WONDER WHY THE CW11 HAD TO BE SO CREEPY WITH THE COMMERCIALS

'Dark secrets to uncover' certainly lends itself to an ARG, or at least viral marketing.

it's not June 1st Hey i just saw this commercial for the first time on CW and it spooked me out. I have TIVO so i played it in slow motion. did anyone else see the picture of the devil or some demon that came up twice?? The Johnny 28:03 is referring to May 28th at 3:00 pm. That's what the count down is counting to on Pacific Standard time. Does that help anyone? What is going to happen on Memorial Day at 3pm????

08Nova Hidden Palms Okay so it is something with Hidden Palms i think. The actor in the commercial is cast to play Johnny on the show which premiers around May 28 (Johnny 28:03). But why the heck are these commercials SO CREEPY! I was so freaked out by them. DOes anyone have any other thoughts as to what the heck these commercials are about?

Their so creepy to catch your attention and get you talking about it like hear. Their doing their jobs great if it keeps getting peoples attention. I also say the commercial and didn't really have to slow it down to see the demon faces.

I saw the commercial as well. It's probably just viral, but I hope it's a new ARG from The CW. And it is most certainly counting down to the Hidden Palms premiere on May 30th.
They did their job well, because I'll definitely be watching.

I guess I'm late to the party. I was re-watching Smackdown this morning and noticed the ad. I thought it was a promo for a new wrestler perhaps, maybe making a debut the day the countdown referenced.
But if it's shown up on other shows as well...You guys are probably right about Hidden Palms.
Why do people insist on using months in a countdown clock, considering the length of a month varies--well, month to month--why not just use days?

I couldn't agree more. A 'month' is the stupidest possible way to measure time for a countdown, IMO.

Indeed. Like it could mean (for: 1month 11days) 31 days + 11 days(give or take); May 11th (because you just use the next month and then the days are counted); or the exact same day as today only next month then add 11 days. I mean, come on! If this is by CW they should have been professional enough to know better. /rant

So I was looking through my DVR'd shows, and caught this ad (the 'nothing changes if nothing changes' one) on Supernatural. Creepy. But yeah, I caught the demon-thing (well, at least once) without slowmo. Are we sure it's for Hidden Palms?
Coincidentally, the very episode of Supernatural the ad appeared during, had a guy (actor, both in- and out-of-character) mentioning that a publicity stunt he had taken part in had people 'saying (he was) the new LonelyGirl'.
