Well, I have no valuable input on this so far. However, this discussion finally drove me to the decision to buy Halo for PC this morning. 1) I've never played first person shooters. I'm much more of a Myst genre puzzler. So I can't believe how frigging fun it is to blow alien scum to bits! 2) Never in my life would someone have been able to explain to me how addictive this is. I installed it at about 11 this morning and have only now stopped playing 12 hours later (and only due to the fact that my one finger and elbow are killing me).
SO! I hope with all hopes that this turns into an ARG cause I've become a fanatical convert

Yeah, it's the same, unless they used the same initials twice or something. The full title of Halo 1 was Halo: Combat Evolved .

Back to the fusion cores.
Someone asked why fusion has highlighted, this could relate back to the steorn trail, fusion being free energy!? In the same paragraph Frankie italicizes green in shoot Fusion Cores - It's the green thing to do.
Also anyone consider deciphering m 12 as in m 12 warthog into the possible ip from ghost.713?

The best way to kill a possible trailhead is to link it to Halo, ILB or Steorn. Instant hate.

wasn't trying to link it to either of those, just sharing possible information to those looking for it. except halo, cuz that is where this trailhead started after all... on bungie's website, creator of halo.. so that's the best way to turn instate hate off

Howdy folks,
I'm sure some, if not most of you saw this article posted on argn the other day.
Well, you can watch the video mentioned in that article on gametrailers.com (it's on the main page)... if you click on PART 4 of the show, you'll find that the 42 team is heavily hinting there is a Halo 3 ARG, with the first clue being within this video.
I was much too lazy to actually scan through it, but I thought you guys might be interested.
EDIT: You can also watch the video on the video archives of the official Spike TV site here .

Hm? What's this kloo you speak of?
The only thing I found when I watched it (on the web archives, BTW, because I wasn't allowed to stay up to watch it, I don't have Tivo, and my VCR didn't record it. Bah.) was http://miyamoto.spiketv.com which doesn't appear to be an ARG of any sort.

Uhm, actually it was just the show's host who said that considering the nature of ARGs in general {in his opinion} "There could be clues all over right now and the viewers wouldn't know it". Which may or may not be true. AND 42 was very consistent on their no comment, so there's a 50/50 chance..not really heavily hinting I'd say. Especially since...didn't someone earlier in this thread say something about 42 believing that Bungie would go a different route this time?
EDIT2: Ah, here

Sean (from 42) told me that Bungie wanted to use a different approach to advertising Halo3 this time around.
But! With that said: the way the 42 people were acting while saying their no comments did sort of lend itself to them hiding something.
EDIT: Vanishing Point was a 42 run game for Windows Vista.
Could anyone who has played the other 42 games look through the video and see if anything doesn't look like it belonged to one of the previous ones?

oo alright so miyamoto.spiketv.com has appeared twice already from what i've seen. both times very fast in the beginning of segment four. once in front of the bellagio and once at :19 seconds. miyamoto also seems to appear beside liko at 1:11
and what about the hexagons over the Princess at 1:51, she says "Princess Peach?!"

Their next show is on Miyamoto (who made Mario Brothers). I think it's just an ad. (And Princess Peach = Princess Toadstool in MB)
