Hi, all,

I left a message yesterday with my address, and I'm near London. Now there's a London craigslist! I don't anticipate a package, being overseas and all, but it does look like they're paying attention to who is leaving messages.

Interesting that in the picture it looks like they're all walking toward the monster instead of away.

Also subscribed to sentryoutpost as carmenmiranda.

Oh, and one probably irrelevant thing that I mentioned in chat: We've seen references to St. Andrew and St. George--that's two of the four patron saints of the UK countries (Scotland & England). If we see St. Patrick and St. David, then we have a full set.

Collect all four!

Hey All!

Late as usual for a number of reasons. I've plowed through most of this thread. This is my first ARG sort of. I got my package at the beginning of the week. I'm the craigslist in Lynchburg.

This is fantastic, welcome!

So, two questions:
1) Do you think you know why you might have received a package?

2) Is there any way you can scan these? Obsessive-compulsive ARG players will want to see these for themselves EDIT: Nevermind I just saw again that you said you would try Smile

Hi Nadif! Glad to see you back around here. If I happen to get a package I will quite happily mail it to you. I am sure that with the overlap of information, it won't cause a delay. Not sure how much the postage will be, I recall it being quite expensive to send things to Australia, probably Brazil is less. PM me your address.

does anyone else think that the reflection of a window in the cat's eye on the background of the bseeingu index (body.jpg) looks incredibly intentional? just thought I'd throw that out.

Hey all! I just received a package too, and I'm from around Penn State, so I hear there are relevant craigslist entries. I'm scanning stuff now.

EDIT: Pictures!

Ok, so in my own summary, I think I've got everything caught up...
To the best of my knowledge, these are the issues / items we're still missing:

* Locations/Craigslists for Lovek, EGo (Bloomfield), Bagsbee (Queens), and Catherwood
* Kona and Carmenmiranda have claimed potential craigslists (las vegas and london respectively), but haven't reported packages yet
* Bagsbee's i ching letter hasn't been verified (25,5,12) as E
* We haven't yet heard from I Ching #7 or 10
* Need all package scans from catherwood , talismaniac and luke, and remaining page scans from creativeembassy

* and of course we're still searching for the remaining packages - a couple from the 13th, more from the 17th, and any from the 21st.

edit: n/m catherwood, misread the comment about 'copy of mots'

possible picture book source

GAH! I'll just trout myself right now.
danteIL found this back on page 18 of this thread! -- can we at least add this to our wiki as a tentative match? I guess we're still waiting for someone to get a copy of the book...
-----------------
Just going off our wiki page for the "Picture Book", it looks like we haven't pinned down "Book B" yet. I think this is a good candidate:
Kiss of the Beast: From Paris Salon to King Kong by Ted Gott & Kathryn Weir (2005)
Quote:
The book Kiss of the Beast: From Paris Salon to King Kong explores images of gorillas, wild beasts and monsters in art, film, science, literature and popular culture from the late nineteenth century to today. It examines humanity's highly charged relationship with primates and draws connections between debates about evolution, race, aesthetics and sex. Many incarnations of the 'beauty and the beast' tale in art and film unfold in Kiss of the Beast — from French artist Emmanuel Frémiet's sculptures of a gorilla carrying off a woman of 1859 and 1887 to the classic 1933 image of Fay Wray in the grip of King Kong.

Kiss of the Beast is richly illustrated with film stills from many famous big ape and monster movies — including King Kong, Frankenstein and Creature from the Black Lagoon — as well as posters, sculptures, paintings, print and rare books. The book is published in conjunction with 'Kiss of the Beast', an integrated exhibition and film program presented by the Australian Cinémathèque, Queensland Art Gallery.

Additionally, this book is available in paperback, which is probably more likely something that would be torn up for our clues.

I think so as well--I was looking at the eye specifically, because in one of the letters (I am really sorry I can't remember which one and it would take me ages to track back) she said something about looking into her eye.

Look Into My Eye...

The reflection in the eye almost looks like the main towers of the Golden Gate Bridge.
