Yes, the heat sensitive ink should reveal if you hold the card over a lamp (just don't leave it there too long!!), or against a heater or radiator, or even if you just put your finger/hand/arm/random body part over the suspicious area for a few seconds or so
There was tell during the first season of some cards being subjected to various tortures, including peeling apart, freezing, microwaving, and goodness knows what. But I think you should be fine approaching them with less severe measures.
I think I found a couple...the black kind of rubbed off/disappeared. I was all what the heck....is it supposed to do that.

Word of warning that is always worth repeating: do not put silver cards in the microwave. I wouldn't do it with other cards either, but they're a little less likely to go kaboom.

I avoid putting anything but food in the microwave...what did you do almost blow up your house or something?

If it's a normal heat sensitive card, then the black part will come back when it's cool. You can also feel the heat sensitive ink a bit, it's thicker and apparently goes on after the normal printing.

Don't you just hate it when people don't reply promptly? And don't you just hate it when they drag up an old thread to reply? In my defense... Nah, I'll just get on with the replying.
There's a secret hidden link in my last message that makes the whole thing make more sense. One thing I'm not so keen on about the colour scheme here is that links are virtually impossible to spot, which is a bit of a pain when, like me, you tend to put a lot of links in. I keep thinking about underlining them (as I have done in the edited quote above) but I don't like underlining, colours are prettier. Perhaps I should experiment a bit more.
Whilst any metal is bad in the microwave, soap should also be avoided unless you film it and put it on youtube .
(Not good when you spend ten minutes clicking preview to go through colours to make your links.)

I forgot to go to the link last time. OMG there was an actual thread like that.
I purposely set a piece of toast on fire in the microwave when I was little....it was really cool.

So still no use for the key card yet? I'm itching to register like it tells me to but there's certainly nowhere at perplexcitystories.com to do so.

What's with those keycards? Do we really need one? I have no way of getting one as I live in Canada which majorly sucks. Firebox doesn't ship to Canada and I buy my cards from a place in B.C.

I think bake in the day it was said that there would be used in the perplex city stories side of things , but would not be necessary that you have one to play. A lot of people think there will be used in future live events but that's just spec.

I kind of want one anyway as they're pretty cool looking and I'm sure they're going to be useful.

Ok thanks. I went on both but it probably spazzed as I put my P.O. Box on there. When the 2nd wave of cards come out I'll look a little more into it. Maybe I can do some shopping for friends or something...

Ahh, ok, i can understand why you don't though, £25 is a LOT of money, considering I only paid about £50 for a box (with vouchers ).
