Argh, should have posted this earlier. I chatted again with Mat tonight, he mentioned the security backups aswell:

Quote:
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:27):
Hey Lewis
Lex says (22:27):
Hey Mat
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:27):
You've probably speculated that mat isn't my real name...
Lex says (22:2Cool:
Indeed, but I've got nothing better to call you by right now. The same way that Lex isn't my real name, but people call me that sometimes
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:2Cool:
All should become clear soon.
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:2Cool:
which will be a better situation for all of us
Lex says (22:29):
You're talking about this weekend, I take it?
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:30):
I'm considering meeting you in person.
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:30):
I'm just weighing up the risks
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:30):
I have friends within L.O so I could get them to arrange the dead drop for me
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:31):
but it seems like I should meet the people who have helped
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:31):
(or tried to)
Lex says (22:31):
Do whatever you feel is safest.
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:33):
Can I trust you?
Lex says (22:35):
I feel that I'm trustworthy. If you need superficial evidence, I don't have anything to gain from betraying you.
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:35):
faitr point
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:35):
unless jennifer has recruited you
Lex says (22:35):
She's been keeping quiet.
Lex says (22:36):
I haven't heard anything from her since your return, after last weekend.
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:36):
Ah, she must be keeping busy with the investigation
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:36):
which was good
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:37):
but now i'm worried she has something on me
Lex says (22:3Cool:
She said she would have to question everyone in the building. Do you think someone might have said something?
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:39):
well, not everyone is my friend...
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:39):
understandably many of my colleague were dubious of Jennifer recruiting her 16 year old son into the organisation
Lex says (22:41):
I can imagine. Perhaps some bitterness there, but I can't speculate. What's more important is if you think she has a tangible lead on you.
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:41):
Well, we have internal CCTV at out buildings
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:41):
now I manually shut them down before I went into Jennifers office
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:42):
But I now remember that they were still recording, just not onto tapes
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:43):
so the digital files will have still been saved into the security database
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:43):
I plan to remove them when I go into the office tommorow.
Lex says (22:44):
Let's hope that Jennifer hasn't already seen the footage, then. I'd hate for you to be caught when we're this close to finding out what's happening.
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:45):
I wish I could tell you now
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:45):
Lewis, I have to go, talk soon
DT - Tom Loveday says (22:45):
Thanks
Lex says (22:45):
See you soon

Someone has to warn him not to go into the office tomorrow!

EDIT: Sent him a text from my broken phone. Here's hoping it didn;t come out garbled.

XD I just called him and warned him! I get the feeling this is the PM's real phone number. He seemed set off balance like he wasn't expecting to get called there again. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it. Anyway, for what it's worth he know he can't go to work or he's going to be taken in for questioning. -.-

Edit:!! Oh I feel so bad, I forgot about the time difference. It's like 10, he could have been sleeping.

Argh, I left my (broken) phone at home today. Here's hoping Mat doesn't need to call me, heh.

Came home from work to find a brief message on my IM thingy:
Quote:
15:54:15: Hello Myf
15:54:52: I recieved your text
15:55:27: thanks for the offer of help
15:56:15: It's much appreciated

And then 10 minutes after that came a text message
Quote:
i know keeping you in the dark is not fair, so if you want to talk with your friends and create a list of 5 questions then i will include the answers on sunday

Thinking caps on, boys and girls!! If we can agree on the list by say 8p.m. (UK time) tomorrow, I'll get them to him somehow. Fair enough?

Man! Only 5? And since we don't know what it is that he'll be telling us anyway, we might be asking redundant questions.

I guess that's a chance we'll have to take. Hopefully we'll ask at least one question that will give us information he wouldn't have otherwise told us

Perhaps one strategy is to ask questions that require a certain amount of explanation in the hopes that during the course of said explanation, he might give away more than the answer requires; thus, even if he was going to tell us that one anyway, we'll still come out ahead.

Some suggestions:

What does London Operations actually do?
Is Jennifer your biological mother or just your superior?
Is Jennifer the head of London Operations?
Is your father a rogue agent?
Why did you go to meet with your father?
Why did your father fly into the country?
How is your father involved in this?
What is your real name?
Why did you send us the emails?
Did you really send us the emails?
Why did you put a heart around your own initials?

We should post a bunch on here and have a vote. The first one sounds good. He probably won't tell us his real name.
