[Humor] You might have Meta Gamer withdrawals if...

To continue MoR's topic into a post-Project MU world, you might have Meta Gamer withdrawals if...

...you have a dream in which the digital readout of your DVD player scrolls "...WHAT NEXT?" (No, I do not think there was any morse code static in the background.)

...you wake up in a sweat because of a nightmare you had about Cartier rings... oh wait, that was just me... DARN YOU, YANKA! Wink

...you stay up so late that you turn off your monitor and the room goes pitch dark

...you freak out when you see a butterfly perched on your front door, and you run to get your camera, but by the time you get it, the stupid thing's gone...

...you STILL check all the sites for updates every 10 minutes...

...you have actual free time now, but you use it to write a book

Guilty of all 5... Smile

madness has no cure

You try to resist checking on the webpages for an update, even you though you know the game is over, you try and resist but then you have to.
First stop is paintover, then logon to metadex hoping that someone is lying that the game is not over, then you think maybe there is something I missed, I can keep the game alive if I can just find one more clue.

ARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH I am addicted and I can not break my habit. I can see patterns in the clouds, codes and encryption in simple notes left of my desk. Please someone give me a picture puzzle to solve. Rolling Eyes

...you've forgotten how to go to sleep early (read: before 4am), so you continue spend those hours of the night on the forum and in the chatroom...

...in fact, your internal clock has gotten so thoroughly confused that you just don't feel sleepy at night anymore, ever...

(very guilty)

...you're at work, in a meeting, reading the handout, and come across the text, "...homepages to load...", blink, then see, "...homepages to load..." and start circling frantically, prompting odd looks from co-workers.

You think that the end of the game chats and FAQ are just a trick by the Matrix Supercomputer to get you to stop delving into the truth about Dina/Beth/Jesse....and you won't be tricked by a "program"

You're certain that all of the "answer to come later" responses means there WILL be a sequel.

... You start looking into catching up on Acheron, but it feels wrong. Kind of like you're cheating on your girlfriend.
