This is what's up.
Before we get to page 2, this should be posted here, so i'll do it.

This is a pure puzzle trail. Each page has a cryptic something on it, and a place to type an answer. if you type the right answer, it brings you to the next puzzle, if you type the wrong one it brings you to a custom 404 page. Apparently there are also false paths that branch off if you type very wrong things, but we have yet to see one of those. There is a forum on the main page, and the puppetmaster, greengecko, has posted there.

I realize people often work together while solving puzzles and in doing so share their progress. I have no problems with anyone working within such a group.

I only ask that your communications remain discreet and you refrain from publicly posting solutions in this and other forums.

So, while we will defiantly post puzzles and hints to answers here and other forums. We should NOT post actual solutions. It's a personal adventure, and people should figure it out on their own.

We are currently all stuck on the 4th puzzle. It's a morse code which when deconverted does not say anything.

So now you all know, here's some links.

Start:
http://www.grngecko.com/torment.html
Forum:
http://grngecko.com/phpBB2/

Really Bad Hints:
P01: Seems to have more then 1 answer, but they converge by P03.
P02: This trick appears in most args.
P03: Annoying that it's not text, but if you look, you don't have to re-type it all.
P04: SOOOO much harder then all the previous ones.

EDIT: nooo!!! page two!!!!

Um, the morse code puzzle (P04) is the same one i posted on page 1. As stated, the morse deconverts into just a string of letters, numbers and punctuation. It may be some obscure programming language, but nobody seems to recognize it yet. Another theory was that it was one of the less used forms of morse code. (there is American morse code, as well as Russian, German, ect ect.) This also has fallen though. Anyone who has any ideas, please post 'em so we can get on with this pretty cool puzzle trail! I feel tormented that this is a dead end, and it started at P01. I'm unsatisfied with the answers for P01 which get us to here.

Quoted here for your convenience:
Quote:
morse:
Code:

PS> Hay, all the time i've been here, i thought that this: Idea was some kind of Cyclops emoticon. I just now saw if for what it is.

EDIT: Dude! i didn't notice that greengecko just posted above. In that his name was regestered long before the release of this puzzle trail, i'll just believe it's legit. HI MISTER PUPPETMASTER MAN! MAKE SURE THE MORSE IS RIGHT, PLEASE.

If you use the site I posted, decrypt and reverse it you get

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
SOS,LUCIDMEMORY,TISYOURPOSITION,SHADOWFORCES,VIRTUALLYINVISIBLE
,DIGETALINTERPRETATU,IDENTIFYNORTH38DEGREES57.135MINUTES,WEST77DEGREES08.
744MINUTES

Looks like some kind of coordinates maybe?

Its not the exact phrase per se, the coords are a bit more exact than the entire building, it seems.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ie there is a certain relatively famous item within the grounds of said building you might want to research Smile

And now to bed - its far too early in the morning here Neutral
