I think undiscovered as we did not make the leap that Wongmo etc. was travelling to Hawaii, i think most presumed that Phil went to hawaii to spy. When you look back there are little hints that just needed to be pulled together

Allow me to either A) clarify or B) muddy things a bit more.

As I understood it and wrote the characters, AQN lived in Chicago but had a Hawaii fetish, quite possibly from growing up there and moving away. So when he created the Wongmo persona, Wongmo adopted an island feel and attitude. When AQN created Kane, he placed Kane physically in Hawaii, which is what Phillip was looking for when he went to Hawaii--some evidence of Kane's existence (remember the UH reference? University of Honolulu) which he reported back that he couldn't find, but he did stumble across the secret of AQN/Wongmo/Kane/Fiona's identity.

Fiona was set in Arizona just to keep her distant from the others in a different climate. Remember Fiona mentioning the cool, crisp temperatures? Oops, that was AQN's slip as to his real location.

We also discussed a live Wongmeet in Chicago, but I can't say any more about that without giving away a good future puzzle idea Twisted Evil
