Ok, lets look at the painting. Who is the baby? Who is the most famous baby in history? Who would that make the mother? With that said, lets look at where they are. What does the terrain look like? If you can answer those questions, you can get the keyword you're looking for.

ok so finally got to the roaches, is there a simple answer or will it require purely observational skill.

On a side note do you think we are some sort of maze, has anybody put together a map of known locations, I know grngecko wants us to solve the riddles on our own but it would be nice to know there is a sense of direction.

I've been keeping a log of the path of the pages and a list of the solves on each page.

Anyone make any progress today on the circle cipher? I was in an all day meeting and haven't really had a chance to work on it. I did do a little work after getting home and made some progress, but its slow going.

It's all been slow-going for me today. I had a lot of work to do, but I'm settling in now to play puzzles after dinner. Cool

It would help to know what puzzle you're talking about exactly.

Here's the clue I gave earlier for that one
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Read the clue carefully. Note the way its phrased. Once you find where its pointing, understand that the creator of the puzzle is Anglo and not a native of that country. The answer is in his native tongue.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
To further expound on that, make sure the answer is written as it would be in English. That means no characters with funny accent marks. Its fairly straightforward at that point.

If you give up, PM me and I'll tell you the answer.

Does anyone here know anything about flash programming? I've started to try and think outside of the box with the circle puzzle since cribbing doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I took a look at the decompiled flash on the circle puzzle page and it seems way more involved than it should be to loop that sound.

I also found the "TV page".
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Decompiled, I can see the image on the TV (not static), but the text is far too tiny to make out. Fairly certain that's a red herring.

Hey--new to the board, and FRUSTRATED with the roaches!

I've looked at the hints you've given so far...can't make head or thorax re: the bugs' movement and stops...practically driven blind!!

Can someone help? maybe a PM?

Ryan

On the circles too,

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
a few days ago when Paul and I started it, we tried the - - xt to get to the tv level. which works with the word 'last' too, as you can get to that from page 1, i'm 100% its a red herring.

Had 2 theories concerning this.
Its similar to a font Paul found for Bionicles, lol.

and whilst I haven't had time to work on the idea, I thought perhaps it could relate to a clock cipher I saw some time ago, where numbers on the face relates to the code based on the positions of the lines. Thats as far as I have got, other than Paul bringing the damn Circles puzzle to the pub with him. Razz
