[PUZZLE] Wongmo Songs Easter Egg Pulled this over from the Gen section.

Oh, BTW. I just realized it was never mentioned anywhere. There is a small egg in a couple wongmo songs that nobody ever picked up on.
I wonder if it is in the Music itself, the names or the time of each track. or some kind of combination.
What cool replayability this ARG has.

We know that 'Wave Runner' contains a hidden message. Looking at all the files in Winamp, it is the only file that is 96kbit and has 'Copyright' and 'Original' marked as 'Yes'. The other files are 192kbit and have those flags set to 'No'. I'm assuming that there aren't any hidden messages in any of the other files.
The ID3 tags also don't show anything, other than that all songs are marked as 'New Age', with the exception of 'Tidepool Wonders' which is marked as 'Other'. All files are marked with a Year of 2003, except for 'Swells', which doesn't have a Year.
I tried looking for the songs that are not links on his Music page, such as 'Aqua Lagoon', but there don't appear to be any.
Anyone else care enough to look into this again? It would be a shame to leave any easter eggs uncovered

Well, the melody in the first half of the Wave Runner song clip is the same as Somewhere from West Side Story. Here's the lyrics:
There's a place for us,
Somewhere a place for us.
Peace and quiet and open air
Wait for us
Somewhere.
There's a time for us,
Some day a time for us.
Time together and time to spare,
Time to look, time to care
Some day!
Somewhere
We'll find a new way of living,
Will find there's a way of forgiving
Somewhere...
There's a place for us,
A time and place for us.
Hold my hand and we're halfway there
Hold my hand and I'll take you there
Somehow...
Some day...
Somewhere...
Although I don't think this is the clue.

It very well may be. It helps to show how big of a scam Wongmo's whole set-up is...
Is it me, or does 'Dolphin Dance' sound like the soundtrack to some 80s family-sitcom?

I GOT IT!! It was so obvious!! They are all songs!!!
Other than that, I've got nothing. Maybe something a Musician will pick up.

So, sooooooooooo close.............but no cigar.
And no, you don't have to be a musician to hear it.
Being a couch potato might help, though........

Well I wouldn't know westside story to save my life, but I qualify on the couch potato front.
To me the start of Waverunner sounds like the music from Blade Runner. But that's just another renegade technology story
Is my couch close enough to the screen?

Marl,
You might be right.
I just found a midi of Dances with WOLVES. Pretty close to Dances with Whales. clips of Sound tracks.
Dances With Whales - Dances with Wolves
Wave Runner - Blade Runner
Swells -
Tide Pool Wonder -
Dolphin Dance - Flash Dance?
Coral Meditation -
Maybe a stretch

That would be a *Ding!* on Waverunner.
Wongmo does seem to have a little plagiaristic side to him, doesn't he?
Shocking.
