Yep, but were all out of colossus Laughing

Edit: Some information about Colossus, not sure if it will help:

• One of the seven wonders of the world until it was destroyed
• Is a statue of the Greek God Helios
• Errcted by Charles of Lindos
• Was situated in Rhodes
• Was over 100 feet tall
• Shakespeare mentions the collosus in Shakespeare's Cassius in Julius Caesar (I,ii,136–3Cool Troilus and Cressida (V.5) and in Henry IV, Part 1 (V.1).
• A poem "The New Colossus," by Emma Lazarus, written in 1883 and inscribed on a plaque at the Statue of Liberty in New York City's harbor.

A colossus is now referred to as a statue that is twice life size. The Statue of liberty is also a colossus.

"Colossi of Memnon" is the only >Real< colossi i could find.

Did they? Tell us!!!

As far as I knew, Colossus was just Greek for huge.

The Colossus was also a poem by Sylvia Plath I'll look into that too.

Sorry for the double post, I feel such an idiot!

Has anybody actually watched those videos on N Jones's site?! Their FULL of the same stuff from the Bristel Goodman videos. For instance the garden glove etc: http://njones.pop57.com/water.html

Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

Edit:

Can someone check this out for me please? There seems to be some speeded up sound on this N Jones video

http://njones.pop57.com/sos.html

Can anyone find out what that is? Theres also streams of charecters. Its probably nothing, but I thought I'd go back over everything again.

Another edit: Something just really popped out at me from the sos video. The word OCTAVE comes up on screan, as it stretches out it focuses on, wait for it...
TA
TA TA?!!!!!

Also guess what scrolls in this video? Keys, fingerprint etc.
There are also barcodes.

It also mentions something about the Navy. Wasnt it suggested somewhere that Eddie was in the navy or something?

I hadn't really watched the videos closely before. The Singularity video is about Ramsdell. His father was a pilot, killed shortly before he was born, so his grandparents asked that he be named after his father (also Richard G Ramsdell). Towards the end it says, "He imagines his alternate lives, had there been no accident."

So maybe this is a clue that N Jones is one of these alternate "lives"?

there is a contact for ric gardner on the site also
gardnerSPLATpop57.com <gardner>
through whom you can supposedly reach njones

found this a little while ago, but as an infrequent lurker (and by the way, hi), assumed it had been discovered already. now i am not so sure

hope it hasn't been and this wasn't dumb. if its new i will let someone who is playing use the contact details & good luck

Of course its not dumb Very Happy Ive been on the site before, had a good poke at the pictures, even saw the email address, but thought he was just another charecter like the myspace pages that dont reply, and never tried to email him. Now I feel like an idiot Laughing

And I'm also starting to wonder, is N Jones the killer? Some things in his videos would kinda point that way. So, is N Jones rhinojock?!!!
And where does colossus fit in with it all? We've pretty much exhausted all the words relating to colossus we can find.

I wasn't sure if I should post this because I highly doubt it means anything and I don't want to confuse everyone further. But I will play along like a little puppet for these crazy BG people... if this was even sent to me from BG.

Ever since I pointed out IP addresses I haven't gotten any actual emails from people, I don't know if that's just a coincidence or not, but it's the only thing keeping my sanity.

Anyway, I got another one of these willselfdestruct emails. Luckily it wasn't a 30 second countdown this time.

here"s a code I"ve received more times than I can stand. This is gting ridiculous. If you think you"ll have bettr luck be my guest. I"ve got to lose myself for

(I added breaks to the code so it doesnt mess up the forum.)

So eddie is going to lose himself for a while? Like he has been such an active character for the past 2 months?? Well, that's just great.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Base64 the code and you get:
I told you they would remember us.
Who?
Everyone.
Yeah no thanks to Hesiod.
I'm sure he meant well.
Yes, but you can't just go around telling half truths.
You're right, someone could get hurt.

I added spaces and the italics to make it stand out that two people are talking.

Unless of course it's one person talking to himself. The only thing that seems important out of this is the name Hesiod. So I searched and searched for something BG related, but I'm stumped. The myspace.com/hesiod looks like a OOG person. Even though he was a Ancient Greek author I'm not sure how he is suppsoed to connect to this new collossus clue. It's almost like Eddie is getting emailed these clues for another ARG... Rolling Eyes

EDIT: AHHH Heres another link to computers
