Revisiting the phonecall, as per the PM chat clues... The head of discussion can be found here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2991&start=165

MatrixOfReality and I were just looking on the wrong site... we were sure that it was on Aquapolis.... kudos to Giskard!

This is the result from decomposing the Halloween phonecall, done in this thread. The guy talks about that he has "no idea where the noble roman directory came from". That said, we didn't find anything on The Aquapolis, but as the phonecall was the result of a "whomp" affecting the systems of more then only Aquapolis (there's also the Metacortechs voicemail message of MLO), I thought, let's try Underscore Hosting, as it would probably be affected as well... the /noble/ directory was there, and then RayJNT found the roman.jpg!

So, this is the place where the Urchins talk behind Scratch's back, as it seems...

It was found thanx to great teamwork in the #matrix IRC... so everyone gets a super STOL prize (even me, in my first partial solve).

I'm done with slacking! Teamwork from now on. Smile

A little correction: the lhp file got mis-sorted and should be up in the third slot, not at the bottom.

Well, it's RayJNT who did the real find, and we wouldn't have without the research by MOR and Wix, so this really was a team effort.

Anyway, it guaranteed another Metacortechs-adrenaline rush for a bit, so... cool Smile

Hahaha....in the BigMcLargeHuge files, Scratch says:
Quote:
this noble/roman doesn't work for free, bud.

Heh. Someone saw that little directory, methinks...
Great job, guys!

Sequence of events...

SOOooo... now that we have the noble/roman files... where do you think we first got tipped off about it?

The Unjust files on Underscorehosting were found the same day the Roman files were there... so they probably co-existed...

The only thing I could find in the Unjust files was Texel:
http://metacortechs.netninja.com/unjust/unjust2.txt

She says "scratch is NOBLE, and well given"

Then, in the Oct. 26, the "bigmclargehuge" files, Scratch has FOUND the noble/roman files....:
http://metacortechs.netninja.com/bigmclargehuge/bigmclargehuge2.mic.txt

Where Scratch says (exerpts): "that's right, stupid, *I* am the idiot that couldn't figure it out, and yet you left that trail for me like electric breadcrumbs."
-and-
" this noble/roman doesn't work for free, bud."

When we still didn't find the files, the PMs created the phonecall and had the guy saying "no, I have no idea where the noble/roman directory came from, nor the content."... and later "Dude, what do you think you're doing?"

The "Dude..." part could be in reference to Caesar, saying the following to Scratch in the bigmclargehuge files:
http://metacortechs.netninja.com/bigmclargehuge/bigmclargehuge3.jpg.txt

"Dude, what are you doing? ...."

So.... were we supposed to find these files on Oct. 16, or the 26th?
