Quick question on the circles.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
After reading through the Shadow pdf, I understand how the cipher works. What I'm having a hard time determining is if I'm actually flipping this thing correctly. Once flipped, is the text still Vigenere encrypted or is it plain text? Every time we hit a number, are we supposed to flip the puzzle?

I've been working on flipping/turning things and deciphering, but I still get a lot of garbage. Looking at that output, I try and find a Vig key and come up flat there as well.

Coming up with a clever way to give a hint without giving it away is quite a challenge. Here goes:

Somewhat like the morse code puzzle, there is something you need to do before you can start decoding it. It may not be the first thing that you think of.

And if that's not quite enough...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Don't you wish the first symbol were a direction instead of a letter?
Gotcha

That's actually what I had been playing with since thats what the PDF indicated needed to be in place to decipher the message. I'll keep at it then. At least I know I'm not completely off base, I just haven't quite hit upon the correct method yet.

A couple of pages back...

...you saw something where the answer was a slight variation from the name it's normally known by - a difference of one word - probably because it was translated from another language?

Google maps understands coordinates.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There is also a connection between the location and the other text in the message.

OMFG! Finally cleared out the cirlces! Lets just say I suspected type of "additional processing" need after deciphering the first bit in English based on the symbols, I just totally didn't understand where/how we were supposed to start from. Let's just say the hint that's been posted has an entirely different meaning in AutoCAD as a command and that was throwing me off.

Thanks for the clues on that Circle Puzzle!

The one after it is a LOT easier, it's just a lot of rots! Razz

Working on the glyph puzzle now Smile

Bah! I solved the "rot" code but still can't get the keyword. Please say I'm missing something obvious...

Hmmm

Are the results of the glyphs

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Coordinates?I wound up with two sets of three numbers so far, and they look suspiciously coord-y.

Only thing is, they lead to very random places, so I might very well be barking up the wrong ttree somewhat.
