[PUZZLE] #9 Bay of Bengal May 09 20:00 (Calcutta time???) Thread to discuss puzzle #9 Sorry to be so cheeky, but I would like at least puzzle location thread with my name on it . I'm not going to spam this place, so I'll leave #13 and #17 alone.

looks like its with the calcutta time zone too. when you solve the puzzle, it seems to take you to a little left of the center of the bay, which is in line w/ calcutta.
i didnt do this last year, what is the puzzle you think it is similar too exactly?

fyi calcutta is same time zone as before, so whatever time your puzzle was accessed today, will be the same tomorrow

reckon on it being 3pm (UK) then.
as for the puzzle we had to scrabble in the sand to find pieces of a plate, then match them together to get the co-ords.

also a question....do they always post a puzzle a day? or will they post like the last 5 in a group so whoever figures all of them out will make the final 22nd puzzle? how did they do it last year?

You already know they don't post a puzzle a day. There's no puzzle tomorrow, after all.

yea there is. the puzzle is at 1030 am on may 8th for me....todays was at 1030 am on may 7th...it maybe different for yall but w/ my time zone thats how its working.... and the hunt started on may 4th and had 4 puzzles already started on that date. just wondering if thats how they did it last year, w/ one puzzle a day? or only one puzzle a day until the last bunch of puzzles when they release them all at once b/c time really matters?

LOL...no Chica, he means scrabble as in scramble around....
I think this puzzle will be like the plates in the WATER puzzle last time which is gonna suck because that one was shaded and hidden much in the same way the maze puzzle we just did was. I hate those. We had to search a very large graphic of water shimmering, and you could faintly see a discoloration in the water when you were over a plate fragment. You clicked to capture it, and it took you to a screen where you could store your fragment and piece by piece put the plate back together. Then you had to go back and get another fragment.....
Honestly I didn't get all the fragments, cuz you could read the numbers without finishing it. Back then I was under the mistaken impression that time was of the essence in ALL the puzzles. LOL!

What time zone are you in Chica? Chittagong is 13 hours ahead of California (Pacific Daylight time), on the same day. So for me, it starts ONCE AGAIN, at 7 am....

Can't be. #8 opened May 7, 2000 local time. #9 is opening May 9, 2000 local time. Same local time zones in both cases, far as we can tell. No matter where you are in the world, these two puzzles are 48 hours apart.

24 days and 12 puzzles puts it at a puzzle every other day. I'm sure there will be a few twists thrown in. If I remember correctly, last year had them spaced similarly and didn't we have a few puzzles together and then a longer wait?
