It's binary. You only have 1's and 0's

there are actually os on 1st, 4th, 8th, and 9th...look at the light sequencing and what sets them off
actually dark i got different sequences than you somewhat (or maybe the same and im reading yours wrong:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
x=lit, o=lit and w/ an o, -=light, but not lit
0=_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
1=x _ _ _ o _ _ _ _
2=_ x _ _ _ _ _ _ o
3=_ _ x o _ _ x _ _
4=_ _ x x _ _ x _ _
5=o _ _ _ x _ _ _ _
6=_ _ _ _ _ x _ o _
7=_ _ x o _ _ x _ _
8=_ _ _ _ _ x _ x _
9=_ x _ _ _ _ _ _ x
oh i see, you took out the lamps you clicked on...well if this helps anyone too:)
yea, yours is the same, but I didn't mark the ones I clicked on to light them up, but that could be invloved also

basically hun. binary code is a language computers use (may be used now, im not a big computer person...this game obviously has some puzzles geared towards computer people:) consisting of sequences of 1s and 0s to communicate functions...
i.e. 1001 means to do something while
1011 means to do something else.
hope that helps

what?? Ohmigod I'm so confused - I've plugged in 594##184## and keep getting wrong coordinates. Your clue vbchica923 has left me even more perplexed.
am I not on the right path for the lanterns that illuminated the O?

sorry hun...i didnt mean to confuse you...your on the right track that os are important, but maybe they signify a certain number should be posted in that sequence???
and if anyone wants the solution explanation:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
there are zeros hidden in the 1st, 4th, 5th, 8th and 9th..this signifies which numbers you put a 1 in. the rest of the orders you use a zero, giving you an answer of 1001 10011.

I got O's in different spots Hey vbchica923,
I got O's in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th spots.
So am assuming that 1110 11100
Didn't you get O's in the same positions?

no i got os 1st, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th
i would say if you got os in the 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th spots that they signify a zero instead of a one and that theyre trying to switch the puzzles up a little. but i definitely only got o's in the spots mentioned

check out the 2nd lantern again vbchica - I just tried it again and when you put lantern #2 ON, then lantern #9 shows that glowing O.
Didn't you see that or am I the only one?

check the above post...i was just saying if someone got o's in 2nd 3rd 6th and 7th, then there were two puzzes (i.e. they switch the puzzle every time you load it, much like the tile or the dominoes puzzle)
but i did get 1, 4, 5, 8, and 9th had os for myself

vbchica923 okay let's assume I got the OTHER puzzle and that after clicking on/off a gazillion times, I've determined that:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1 shows lantern 5
2 shows lantern 9
3 shows lantern 4
4 no O's displayed
5 shows lantern 1
6 shows lantern 8
7 shows lantern 4
8 no O's displayed
9 no O's displayed
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Following the binary code - this would mean 1110 11100
So no matter how you figure it out, I still don't know what to do with those bloody binary zeros.
I cannot see the forest thru the trees!!!

right so....
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
there are o's on the 1st, 4th, 5th, 8th and 9th laterns. so if you put 1's where there are o's and zeros where there is nothing. you get 1001 10011.
ie if you lined up all the lanterns with all of the ones who had o's showing you would see....
o _ _ o o _ _ o o so....
1 0 0 1 1 0 0 1 1
hope that helps

okay I must be a complete idiot - the lantern that lights up doesn't mean a bloody thing. But I still don't get why my binary code is different from your binary code and that your binary code (vbchica923) brings us to South of Java and mine does not. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
