Relaunch the IRC

 		Relaunch the IRC
We are currently looking at renaming the IRC channel to something more applicable to Perplex City (syzygy was the name of the pregame). So what do you think it should be called? Please vote in the poll above or post below with any other ideas.

 		Ok, I didn't quite expect this result, 3 with about equal votes and 1 with none. I'll keep an eye out but at the moment I don't know what will happen.

 		Well however your poll comes out, I know I'll be staying in #syzygy.

Syzygy may not be an obvious name, but I'd say it's still applicable, showing that the game has history from humble roots. It's also, in my opinion, a neat word both in meaning and sound (cellar door), and if someone doesn't get why it's called that they can easily find out with a tiny bit of digging (which is kinda what ARGs are all about Wink).

I've got some great memories of #syzygy, which is why I've always tried to somewhat keep it alive, and look forward to it becoming a more active and interesting place for discussion when season 2 really gets going. I know for a large part, season 1 pretty much took place in the chat, with updates, exploring new sites and even puzzle solves happening in there first, then getting posted to the forums after. One of my claims to fame (although with the old logs gone I cant prove it Razz) was assembling the message on the cards after wave 3 was released from images I'd grabbed from all over and asking in chat if I was going mad or if I actually was seeing the words 'COMBED THUNDERCLA(somthing)'.

Just wanted to share my thoughts here, hope to see some new faces and more chatter in there soon.

Tbh I thought the same thing about syzygy, I haven't voted on the poll, because I'll go wherever.

Anyway, whatever the result, there will still be a "relaunch" Wink Keep an eye on the forums for details.
