[S7] SPEC - This is more than an ARG

Just tonight I became interested in sector seven, and after a couple of hours of browsing, something clicked... so get ready for my wild spec (warning: I think I'm too exited to express myself clearly!):

Sector 7 will be an Alternate Reality Venue... and interactive maze where players will pay to have a virtual experience.

Such a venue exists already in Madrid, Spain (www.negone.com www.differendgames.com). I played it last year (it's amazing). It is a game where you try to escape a futuristic prison by moving thorugh rooms with physical challenges and/or solving computer based puzzles. You are issued a wrist computer to help you along the way, and you keep communication with a group of "hackers" who download clues and tools to your wrist computers, and show you video clips in computer terminals located all over.

The areas found in S7 building schematics are eerily similar to the rooms and challenges in the Madrid Negone. The videos found so far are also extremely similar to the ones used throughout Negone where these hackers reveal the backstory.

Last but not least, this piece of news from last year:

Quote:
At the end of 2006, a Negone will open in New York City and 60 locations have been planned over the next 10 years, all over the world. By 2007, according to Differend Games, a version of Négone will contain robots.

So I think that S7 is a joint ARG to launch Transformers + a version of Negone based on the backstory we are finding here. Woot!

EDIT: Here's a wired.com article about Negone:

I really haven't been up-to-date with the Sector 7 ARG, but after reading this post I read up on Negone and Differend Games, and wow, I really really hope this is the case and I hope they open a location close to me soon because this looks like the coolest thing on the planet.

Well, anyone who lives in NYC could go by 49th and Broadway to see if there is a lot of construction going on...

I'd have to say no. I'm guessing Sector 7 is the
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
facility that is shown in the new trailer where they're hiding the transformer.
