I just got up guys.....looks like a doozy. I am working on an addition/subtraction theory right now.

circles You don't need any maths, apart from adding up.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Look at how many circles have inner and outer circles which are the same size i.e. count the circles which are identical.

What order are you looking at them in Phatraven? Somebody's gonna have to 'splain this one to my sleepyhead, 'cuz even though I see what you mean, I am not getting numbers anything close to the solve.
Sigh.

Hi Sassy! I'm with you. I double clicked on each location on the dino fossil and saw the circles - but I only see 6 when the coordinate is 7 so I'm not seeing the light here.
Also, on that last puzzle (Torres Strait), I got everything from the mark to the knots but for the life of me, cannot come up with the East 2-7-5-7-3. I actually got 2-5-7-4-3 and I've checked it over and over again. So although I got the puzzle (different answers) I still don't know HOW they came up with the numbers to subtract. Any clarification would be appreciated. I'm sure it's an "ohhhhh I get it now" but have wasted enough time on it already!!

8 Coordinates Summergirl you need to search with your mouse tail to head. There are 8 circle areas. Look high and low but they are all on the skeleton.

Sab....I see the 3 on the tip of the tail, but you gotta be nuts to say there are 9 on the next one......can you use spoiler tags and actually EXPLAIN this please? I see all the others....well, one of them is pretty sketchy, but the 9 is just not in line with this theory.

Circle Size
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Look at outer circle size and then look at inner circle size, count the ones that are similar.
I did screen shots of each one that helped to solve it.
The second area is at the foot!

Uh, no it's not....do you have a different pic than me? I'm on AIM, where are you?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The rear leg is a five. The hip bone is a five. The tip of the tail is a two if you ask me, but I'll make it a concession as a three. That leaves the rear spine....and how do you get 9 off that?

circles The foot at the left is the second number, (with 15 circles in total)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Look at the group of circles in the middle which are identical, then count up all of the circles in the pic which are also identical to these. There are nine of them. Similar method for other pictures.

Alright, I'd take a chance to explain
1st number (located at the rear vetebra, you may see it as an active flash starts): there's THREE similar circles (right in the middle) - so the number is 3
2nd: (on the end of a tail): has NINE similar circles (just search it carefully - some circles LOOK like similar, but they're not)
3rd: (on the ass - sorry cause I don't know how to call this bone in English ): it has 5 similar circles in the middle (just as Olympic rings)
4th: (The rear leg) has 5 cimilars either (those one with thin inside points)
5th and 6th (on the spinal) - just in the same way have 8 and 7
7th:(front legs) - there's even more than one combination of two similar circles... - so it's TWO (2)
8th: (on the nose) - there's TWO similar circles also (they're just on the top of combination)
So, we've got the answer...

by the way... I spent more than hour to find any way to understand the sort of a puzzle - and got nothing, until my GF came for me, and solved it at once I was really confused...

Walk Away Sometimes it helps to just walk away and when you come back the answer just pops up in front of you.
