Oooh, all good *guesses*. Hubby is enjoying this. BTW, he picked out the above screen caps.

Okay, hint. I learned the definition of the word "Pederast" because it was used in this movie in a verbal duel between two characters.

Oddly enough, I learned the definition of that word in much the same way, but from a totally different movie, which nonetheless featured a verbal duel between characters featuring the word pederast. However, since we've already used it in this guessing game, and there was a distinct lack of tall ships in that film, this is all beside the point Wink .

Red Ned Lynch in Swashbuckler? Nah.. That is pretty much the original version of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Seems unlikely, but as there seems to be a theme of buccaneering brigands running through these guesses, Blackbeard The Pirate?

That second cap looks like a tiny model (more so than tiny models normally look). Is it Gulliver's Travels? With a little Lilliputian cart going off a hillock?

BINGO! We finally have a winner!
Again, a big favorite in my house. Strong female role model, James Earl Jones and that great voice, Geoffrey Holder (is anyone else old enough to remember his 7-Up commercials?)
