SPEC: Wild speculation about Cypher-Systems

There are four products offered by Cypher Systems:
Quote:

Acheron

Until recently this software was limited to government use. Acheron is the most cutting edge network management and monitoring software ever created. Network, server, and desktop auditing empowers system administrators. It also integrates quickly with Windows, Novell, and Unix networks since there are versions of Acheron for each platform. Visually map out a network and its resources for ease of management, direct interaction with SQL/Oracle database servers to return traffic usage, firewall use, etc at the click of a mouse.

Our other product lines now directly integrate with Acheron.

Seeker - Which provides a wide range of packet monitoring/filtering for any machine you wish to monitor.

Purity - Cypher-Systems' Enterprise Antivirus product. Manage every desktop and server's protection from the same interface you monitor everything else. This includes checking for viruses at the firewall, mail server, and desktop client. With Purity, you'll never have to worry about an attachment with "I love You" again.

Bear Trap - Productivity dropping while your workforce uses valuable network resources to download illegal music, movies or pornography? Bear Trap is a small module that plugs into Acheron. It monitors a list of known sites Cypher-Systems generates that provide such material and blocks connections to them. Bear Trap also monitors all of the popular search engines used by your workforce. It watches for flagged keywords, and uses the results of the search to add the sites returned into the monitor/block list instantly. The list grows as your employees search for off limits subject matter.

What if they correlate somehow to the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse?

Acheron=White (conquering)
Seeker=Red (war) ?
Purity=Black (famine, pestilence) ?
Bear Trap = Grey (death/hades) ?

I dunno, I'm probably as nutty as Reggi.

Word,
Ashley

I've sent them a security alert and asked for detailed description about the Acheron system (As someone working in the IT security area).

Hope they send us something Smile

I'm so excited

I'm so pleased to see this board lighting up like a Christmas tree again! I was worried I wouldn't have time to jump back in but now that I read up on it - I'm more excited than before...

I too sent an email to 'sales' as a prospective client. We'll see if the salesman has loose lips that like to impress with heavy specs...
