I got a message from Bishop that appears to be sending me to Sawyer - but... Who is Sawyer?

Finally a reply =^-^= Well I got a message from Bishop about a week and a half ago asking if I could help him out with some extra work load. I said sure and waited for a reply, I finally got one sometime today I think
Quote:
Bishop says: God I've been so swamped! Sorry its been a week. If you are still up for it here's the assignment:
The TIA is up in arms about this "underground" thing and Icorp is jumping down my throat to nix the rumors coming down from the Culturecorp gossip feeds. Word on the feed is that Ccorp is betting "five 'll get ya ten" that this God-killer thing is the work of some wacko who has dug his chip out. I need a couple of agents to catalog of all the potential strange deaths that Culturecorp could potentially smack that label on so we can start to debunk them. Thanks!
I said I'd get right on it and was just wondering if anyone else got this same request.

Didn't get a mission from Bishop like Mimosa'Kitten (luckily we've got that data gathered in the God Killer thread, so shouldn't be too onerous a task) but I did get this amazingly hilarious correspondence over the last week(s).
It started when sawyer phoned in to that talk show , a cost which apparently is coming out of their staff budget. Bishop mentioned "Sam" would be pissed, so I asked him about her.
Quote:
Sam? She's the owner of Sam's Cafe, and the love of my life - though she doesn't know that yet. Ohhh yea. I love blond hair.
Quote:
Sam... Lemmie steal from one of Sawyer's case files (don't tell him). Umm... searching for "Sam", limit to private journals... ah here we go:
Sheâ??s a handsome woman if you get down to it, always standing behind the bar, washing out multicolored mugs or cooking something up. Iâ??d guess that her name is probably Samantha or Samara but I never bothered to ask. She has these watchful and piercing blue eyes as if sheâ??s always standing guard for something, and Iâ??d swear she never misses a tick. Her short platinum blond hair and no-nonsense expression compliment her waitressâ?? dress and light yellow apron. Right now it is painted with annoyance. I get the impression that she hates everything about Bishop. I get the impression that she hates him more when he gets into a panicky rant.
Immediately after that, he sent the follow-up.
Quote:
Oh god I just read that...
Kill me.
Bishop is by far the coolest character in the game. Hands down.

Bishop says: Raz! Thanks a bunch kit!
Let me know what you want for it.
Is there anything specific you all think I should ask for? I've been a little out of touch with things lately (Finals week sucks =v_v= )

It's not as if you need to tell him immediately, right? Wait a bit, maybe something important will come up later and you can use that as your in-card, if that makes any sense.

I am recently started with DC and was reading up on the story and the characters.
In the beginning of this thread there was a William Alexander Mabus mentioned. Somebody linked him to Nostradamus and somebody said something about the skull and bones.
Also prince william was mentioned.
The moment I read all that I was thinking about our own crown prince Willem Alexander (the Dutch crown prince). His mother is part of the infamous Bilderberg Group, which is linked with Skull and Bones.
There is an interesting book about it all. It is called 'Order out of Chaos" and describes Illuminati, Skull and Bones, The new World Order, Bilderberg group etc. You can find and read the book somewhere at www.scribd.com

So basically I gave him the info and told him I'd call in the information offer later, don't want to jump the gun or anything. Maybe something will come from the message from Will Forth that I can ask about.

On Friday I asked Bishop what I could do to help out. (I'm still fairly new to this game, so I'm not really sure what to do). He sent me back this message:
Quote:
Bishop says: Hey t - yea they've got me working overtime to get ready for the big blue district appeal. Mandrel is in some seriously heavy negotiations about the terms. As for what YOU can do to help --- well I've got a file on this thing they are calling the "underground" which is essentially an empty file folder. Could you do some digging and maybe beef up the report some?
Can anybody point me in the right direction? I did some searches through the news archives, but there isn't a lot of information.

Kind of off topic, but Bishop gave me this reply to a PM I sent him -
Quote:
Karma is crap. You guys are seeing a totally arbitrary emergent property of what Dcorp says you believe. Congrats.
I am, needless to say, annoyed.

Not really related to anything, but did anyone notice that Sawyer was on that show again today? He must really like messing around with that philosopher. Poor Bishop's going to have a fit...
I have actually read and own all of those books too. I hope they don't come after my library!

Yep...today's news article is directly from a convo with me and Bishop. So cool!
Quote:
Bishop says: Wow you don't know do you? The 2012 attacks triggered a worldwide artificial ice age that dropped ocean levels to the continental shelf and doubled the size of the poles! Its taken 25 years just to get back to "normal" whatever that is. There was an article yesterday about that in the text news, let me see if I can flag it for the interface to show up in your sample article rotation sometime soon.

Father Beck also scanned in. But didn't he die?

Yes, that was his number. But according to Lex, it's a "glitch."
I'm trying to find out the real scanned in person. Anyone want to help, just let me know IG.
Sorry to everyone who hoped zombies were walking around. Although that would have been interesting.
