This is only obliquely connected to Perplex City, but there was a large interview with Margaret Maitland, of Master of Secrets, Instruction and Broadside (have I missed some?) fame in the G2 section of yesterday's Guardian. I've not been able to find an online version of the article, but will transcribe bits tomorrow. She is "evil henchwoman" for the UK version of The Apprentice and her studies in Papyrology are mentioned in the article.

Um... suspect it may have been a different Margaret M:

Disclosure: I made it through the first stage of the application process for the first UK series of the Apprentice... but no further. With hindsight, a narrow escape Smile

Hah! They're definitely the same woman: they're both women, they like papyrus, they both have the same name...oh...it's amazing how a bus journey warps your brain isn't it? Thanks Rand0m. Rolling Eyes

In the "The Digital Life" bit of the Review section of the Telegraph yesterday (26/5/07): It's like a digital treasure hunt. As well as another mention for Rand0m, and what seems to have become the usual summary of ARGs in general, it starts off with a few paragraphs about the Frozen Indigo Angel stuff too.

I liked this bit:
Quote:
"They're solving the puzzles faster than we thought," says Adrian Hon, head of play. "We'll have to think up some new twists." A colleague is swiftly dispatched to B&Q to buy combination padlocks for the transmitters.

I'm glad they didn't mention that we failed, LOL.

Shocked That actually suprises me, although I suppose they have done a lot of things really.
