That's pretty sad. Muhammad was the true evil in this whole thing. He used it as a tool to brainwash Malvo. But Malvo still needs to be responsible for his actions.

If I were head of a Movie studio, I'd start suing guys like this for misuse of the copyrighted work. And then suing the Lawyers for using it as a defense.

I know I am tired of movies and video games being blamed for violence.

I miss the game.

Yeah I hear you there. If I didn't have the release of violent games I might not be as placid in public.

If these gun toting no-brains tried an ARG like this, they wouldn't have time to go on killing sprees.

I too miss the game.

P.S.

While we're at it, I'm tired of the Internet being blamed for perverts in chat rooms luring kids to remote parks for all the worst reasons.

<rant>And the sad thing is that said blame, more often than not, detracts attention away from more plausible reasons for violence, things like lack of parental responsibility, school authorities turning a blind eye to bullying, etc. It's basically a severe case of social denial and blame shifting</rant>
