I'm really REALLY not getting it at all. Have tried the quote in full and in parts, also tried rose on it's own and rose theatre and smell, whiff and god knows how many other variations of the theme.

I'd really rather not give up but the way I feel right now I may have to.

Please, someone, help me out here.

1. is the answer from the actual quote from the play?
2. is the answer words?
3. How many.

At least I can narrow it down somewhat then.
