Is Anyone following the Canadian POTC3 game? It started June 1 and goes thru June 30. You have to have a code. (Unfortunately it is for Canadian residents but I hope to just be able to play)

AFAIK, they are the same puzzles. I picked up the map, which is the same as the US, and followed through some of the initial puzzles, and they are the same. Because of laws, I'm sure the Canadian site is simply set up as a separate 'contest' though the contest itself is the same. I'm not sure if that means there's ultimately another prize to be won, but I'd guess the result of the final puzzle will be the same (only one winner).

But I could be wrong on my facts. My observation so far has simply been that the US and Canadian contests are identical.

Not to be confused with "The Hunt" which is just finishing up

There IS a Canadian finalist in our current game, so it's obviously not a law issue.

I went to www.volvocanada.com and read the rules. It's a month-long sweepstakes, not a real skill game. They pick the winners randomly out of all registered entrants. Sure, the Canadians might as well enter if convenient, but the puzzles are there for fun, the rules don't require solving them. They're just getting a little extra mileage out of the existing advertising campaign.
