[DAAAAAAAAMN] Texas Chainsaw Musical!
Hey, Beekeepers, check out the familiar voice!

I got an e-mail from Zan (Jersey from ilovebees) tonight. I swear, that guy has CORNERED the market on exclamation points.

He's got a new video out right now that's being showcased at MTV for their Movie Awards. Oh man, it's v. v. funny.

I thought ILB fans would like the heads-up on what he's up to these days. PLUS the whole thing's hilarious. PLUS the tunes are really catchy.

I think Zan also wanted me to tell you guys to give it 5 stars, but I am wondering if I should hold off on giving that advice until he gives me some kickback, you know? Wink

(omg, make sure you watch to the very end. hee!)

(and yes, give it five stars already. help Zan be a rockstar!)

OMG! That is the funniest thing I've seen in a while--and also quite catchy!

I'm still humming the main theme. Smile

Hey Krystyn!!

Hope all is well!! So, crazy enough, ol' Jersey is nominated for an MTV
AWARD!! There's a new link though, so I'm passing the new info along. This
is the round where the votes REALLY count, so pleeeease spread the word
and watch on Sunday to see if I laugh and get an award or cry and chase
someone with a chainsaw. haha

Anyway, thanks SOOO MUCH Krystyn, lemme know if you need anything else!
You rock!! Zan

Here is the NEW link (make sure they go to this new one) and please make
sure people click the button under "Texas Chainsaw MUSICAL," since there's
another Texas Chainsaw nominee.

All they need is a Yahoo id which takes a few seconds to create, then go
to the link, choose the little button under "Texas Chainsaw Musical" and
click SUBMIT.

Go vote! Yay!

This is super exciting! Smile

Crying or Very sad

The Texas Chainsaw Musical did NOT make it to the MTV Movie Awards.

I was extremely disappointed with "Texas Chainsaw Rehab". Blech!

On the other hand, I was glad "United 300" won, but they really cut it short (the edit probably took out about half of the movie).

Yeah, it looked like they were just showing clips of each one.

I got e-mail from Zan today - apparently they didn't even go by actual votes for the winners, and they went with the "top three" because of time constraints. Apparently the Exec. Producer of the show thought they should've won, but some weirdness was going on there.

I thought the 300 one was really choppy.

Seriously, even though I've got to be a bit biased, the overall production values, humor, and spoofosity of TCM was just so much better than all of the other ones in the top five.

Booooo, MTV, booooo!

(I was hanging out at Dasro's last night (Halo 3 beta, woot!), and we zipped through the recording of the show once it was done, and felt duly cheated at how they handled it. Apparently Zan was sitting right behind the winner dude, but I never saw him.)
