[Manchester:Party]A Farewell For Now Drink - in the North Hey, Cpawley and myself think it would be a great idea for us all to get together, maybe for the last time *sob*. Manchester, or Liverpool... in the next few weeks... Just wondering if anyone would be up for reminiscing over a pint (or 2...)

Count me in, I'm happy to travel across from the North East. Makes a change from having to go to London for events. There doesn't seem to have been much in the North since the last swap meet at FanBoy3.
Not sure about a pint of gin though!

Hey, would I be right in saying Manchester it is? If we went to a weatherspoons or something to start with (there's one apparently by picidilly gardens nr the train st.) I think some spoons have a 'family area' maybe any under 18's could join us? I can check it out... second question is when? I'm free from then 16th-23rd, so thats 2 saturday nights.... how about everyone else?

I'm from Dorset originally so to me it's like the far North

Fair enough - when you're from Newcastle everyone from south of Gateshead is a "southern softie" - or, worse, a mackem.
Manchester is good. Would lean towards weekend of the 22nd/23rd.

I might possibly venture up too. Depending on how much the train fare is from down here, anyway.

I think that Friday or Saturday might be good for me, though I have to check that no-one's planning a surprise birthday party for me
Nope they aren't
So there we go then...maybe when I'm thirty.
It would be good to see you myf, maybe we should work on trying to get poozle to come too...it would be good to meet you two!
Anything north of Exeter is Scotland. Newcastle is in fact Norway - hence the accent.

I'd suggest to start http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/pubfinder/details.php?OutletNumber=424 as it is 'family friendly' So everyone can come... I'm gonna have to book a cheap hotel room or something... so any advice on that would be great. I don't have a clue where the hotel's are etc. To be honest the Friday would be much better to me as I have to be in London about 10am on Sunday...
Would Friday the 22nd be ok for everyone?

Not a chance, would really like to but I'm not actually sure where I'll even be, I could be about as far south as I could be, or even as far north as I could be, whichever way though I won't be able to attend Sorry guys
