 		Maybe we should open a thread to list found usernames/passwords and documents found on research.nru.us. Until then I'll just post here what I've found in Jake's Project folder (I suppose it exists in Zeladzny's folder, too).

In the Reference section is a thread for the BD login. We can start a new thread there for just the Research Log in IDs/Passwords.

Following the ideas of combining the blogs, from :

2003-09-22 From physics purge directory (http://www.nru.us/physics/purge/_archives/), "jake" backdoor

I put in the text from Jake's log messages to Dr. Z while Jake was missing. The messages from Jake are undated and appear with the most recent on top(reverse chronological order) as they appeared in the log we found in the purge archive. I added where I could, the corresponding text from Dr. Z's blog found in the research/nru files.

I followed the convention of Dr Z comment= blue
Jake = Red

Dr.Z [Jake has finally returned. The tale he tells is so unbelievable, yet he seems so earnest. What am I to do? This was not meant to be a tool for small minds! 2003 Oct 06 05:51 ]

Jake -I'm on my way back. I won't tell you from where. It's time.


Jake - Today was amazing. I watched the sunrise over the Atlantic. I miss Meg.

Jake - I thought I saw a hopper today. I watched him for about an hour during the parade. I'm too paranoid. I'll leave another message soon.


Jake -You were right. The fishing is incredible on the north fork.

Dr.Z -[I miss fishing. In Moscow, we fish all year long, through ice even. Fishing not so good in desert. Missing Salmon Falls. North fork. 2003 Apr 01 02:03 ]

Jake- I'm safe. I'll be in contact soon. Make sure to check this page from time to time from the library. I'm working on a better system to communicate. Much more secure.

PS Have we found the better, more secure system that Jake put in place to contact Dr.Z?

Unknown. Jake has also talked with the Professor via IRC/IM several times, of which only one conversation is available for us. The room name appears to be #proj092 but is this on an NRU server or another system?

The "Shift" room on irc.thegamebox.net has only been used twice, where we talked to Jake (the first time he was expecting to find the professor there). Is our next task to find this room and contact the Professor?
