When the mass postings started, they would twist the knife on Wednesdays and Saturdays. But, it has been starting later and taking longer, as time goes on.

She's called it string before:

I look through my bag for something to give him, but have nothing. Some torn up tarot cards? A piece of string?

Quote:
No. Now we have to figure out how to get this finger back on her. A little rope and a piece of string just isn't going to do it.

Also, a new CL:

From wiki:

Quote:
An ashiko is a kind of drum shaped like a truncated cone and meant to be played with bare hands.

The ashiko drum is played throughout sub-Saharan Africa and the Americas. In eastern Cuba, it is known as boku and is played during carnivals and street parades called Comparsas.

Unlike the sounds of a Djembe whose body offers two main tones, the straight edges offer a continuum of tones depending on how close to the center of the head the drum is struck.

Some consider the ashiko to be male and the djembe female.

I think there is an error in the Craigs List part of the wiki.

Under the May 26 listing is this:
Quote:

Sitting in her chair - w4w

You: Looking sane

Me: Shouting madly

As soon as the frenzy passes, I start up the street. My eyes catch the old lady in her torn white dress sitting in a chair on the side of the street. As I approach, she stands and, without saying a word, offers the chair to me.

I refuse.

The look in her eyes tells me not to.

I sit.

She stands next to me as we watch you being forced by in the next wave of insanity.

The look in your eyes tells me you don't want to go.

I shout.

After the wave passes, I get up to leave and thank the woman for her chair. She grabs my hand and puts an empty charm bracelet on it.

What am I supposed to do with that?

I'll bseeingu

Was this an intentional repost by BA or was a mistake made in the transfer to the wiki?

It caught my attention because, in my MUD description, I am holding a pipe which has a charm on it. I was wondering if the CLs are now reflecting the MUD as well as called-in dreams?

I'm not sure what's going on, except that the woman sketching memories in the carribean craigslist is probably me from a dream I sent in. I dropped a sketchpad and a sketchbook in the MUD for good measure on Monday or Tuesday.

Sidenote: I reopened the Private message connection between GetMEout and myself if anyone wants to know. I'll post them if you want.

Now, if anyone needs me, I'll be playing narcoleptic in the corner.

PS, I can't get the chat to come up at all. It starts to load, the it does the little "x-in-the-corner" thing... Confused

Hey Taluria, LTNS.

I went out of town for the weekend and haven't quite recovered from the trip yet. Dunno if I ever will - gonna be one of those times that sticks with me, I think. Kinda like shit on a shoe - the sole never shakes the smell.

I hope you're doing well, and that your classes are going swimmingly I'd like to think you're out there saving the art world from all the inferior good-time painters (like me )

Tempura finger paints fo'eva!

Where'd you go? I'm in a great mood right now. Some of my friends and I went down to Florida today. I got in my three "S"s: sun, sand, and shopping. I really need to get a job though, then I could do more of the third. I really think that shopping releases endorphins for females.

Yeah, I finally sold a painting. Now to keep it up. Anyway, I'm not taking any summer courses, I need a bit of free time.

Finger paints are fun! I'm working on expanding my horizons. I do get kind of narrowminded about my definition of art. Certain things just don't sit well with me, like "Piss Christ", by whatever that dude's name was. Of course that could've just been tha fact that I've been living in the Bible Belt all my life.

Huh, weird. Me too! Only it sounds like you had a better time. I didn't get any shopping in And apparently I have shitty taste in clothing and ugly shoes *sigh* so I probably could have used a trip to the... mall... *shudder*

Major awesome congrats on selling your painting! That's fuckin' awesome, man! Take yourself out for a drink or something! And then get naked! And like, roll in paint! And then on a big ass canvas! I've always wanted to do that

And get out of the Bible Belt, chica. Hit a city and roll in the muck and filth for a time. There's nothin' like waking up to the sound of ambulances wailing down the street and the smell of smog in the fresh morning air. Every trip out of your place becomes an adventure and a chance to see something new. Even if it's just a short trip for a weekend. It does crazy shit to your brain, in that good kinda way

That's all I've got so far. Smile
