I am almost positive they just put "fingerprints.com" as a placeholder. Like many have said, this site has been in existance for over 10 years. They probably just didn't have the real fingerprint link ready yet (which has already been mentioned but just to clairfy what I'm talking about):

fingerprints.com was just a placeholder. We know this because all the other links are www.savemyhusband.com. We have been saying for days to ignore this URL. It's a real company that has been around for many years.

This evening's password

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Using max903 as the username I was given the next screen which had four pix on it. A can, a safe, a bee, an eye, and a person at a sewing machine... in that order

sew eye can bee safe

Answer: soicanbesafe

I put that in and submitted it and got Christina's little "oh you are so smart, thank you" message

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It doesn't matter if you use spaces. "soicanbesafe" works fine.

Please use spoiler tags. If you don't know how, don't post until you learn. Thanks.

For many of the puzzles, there is no one right answer.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
First it was either "icantrustyou" or "canitrustyou",
the periodic table has two variations, you can do some answers with or without spaces, etc.

AND they are probably laughing their butts off at all of us assuming 90% of everything is an anagram, and looking at stuff that has no actual connection to the answers... We've been set up I tell ya - mark my words.

I learned a LONG time ago (yes I am older than dirt...) that certain things are true:

1) If you want someone to agree with an idea; set it up so they think THEY came up with it...

2) If you want to hide something effectively, hide it in plain sight.

3) If something seems too easy or good to be true - it probably is.

Yes they can do whatever they want but I seriously doubt they care about people finding stuff they left to be found....jmho (again)

I agree. I thought that the first clue "duet trap" stood for "part 2" (trap spelled backward is part and duet stands for 2). So I either thought there was another part to the game or maybe it just stands for 2 parts 1) suspect 2) location. So it could stand for outlandish part 2.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Outlandish = bizzare
Duet = twosome
TRAP!
So the question is, which two people teamed up together in this kidnapping plot would strike you as bizzare? (I'm going by the assumption that this twosome was an inside job. I'm suspecting 2 unlikely people from Akarm have paired up in this plot, which is why one of the puzzle's will reveal the words "alarm security" = notify security. I'm guessing that when we finally get to the day we're SUPPOSED to view the live streaming video that we may see some suspicious activity (a feature that has not as yet been activated and won't be until we're supposed to see it). [spoiler]
Those are just my thoughts, though I'm not at all as seasoned in playing these games as the rest of you are. What are your thoughts?

Outlandish Duet Trap

Hey everyone! I've been lurking since Sunday, and decided to post. Just a few observations...there is a huge amount of information that they have built around this game for it to be as simple as it has been up until now. JMHO

Also, someone already anagrammed this earlier...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
it is til death do us part...that was how he proposed to cristina. I dont know if it was just a warm up or an actual clue, but my guess is that it might be a red herring...

Anyway, I've been having fun working this stuff out with you guys. I hope we all get our $1 gift cards Very Happy !

p.s. the amount of product placement in this game is kind of obscene...that password was classic, lol

Interesting theory

EXCEPT
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
many ppl here already HAVE viewed the security feed. And tho we have, who knows...much like the change of the password on Andrew's phone and the change of the picture puzzle...maybe this too will change.
But I agree, somewhere out there - there are many ppl laughing at us right now.

Yes I know it was how he proposed to Christina - she gave that as an example of how he plays with words. It could be a red herring though perhaps we shouldn't dismiss it as such. Sometimes one tends to overlook the obvious clues. Just my thoughts.
