I can't remember ever seeing a code like this. I tried googling it and found some stuff about Block ciphers, does anyone know how to decode those? But from what the CM said to you, sounds like it is probably related to us getting all the pieces of the message together.

But if it's not, some other ideas I had: maybe hex, maybe the letters are x coordinates and numbers are y, some crazy bingo-ish chart, also kinda reminds me of codes inside of picture files so maybe it's related to the steg thing?

So bascially... I have no idea. Laughing

Personally, I think it deals with the email puzzle. Someone else said that the B's relate to bold letters and the C's relate to the capitalized letters. I think once everything's in order, that could give us the answer to this puzzle.

That was my first thought when I saw the code. But I must've messed with deifferent iterations of it last night, and couldn't come up with anything that made sense.

We have added several missing letters since last night. So maybe once we get them into the "chart", it will make more sense.

the f's probably define where a word ends and begins. Also we still need one responder. We have 28, we need 29 for the solve. We just need to get them in order so if your e-mail is different than your forum name please post it.... thanks Wabonan

Before I even read this post, pastor, this is the same thing that I was thinking. I don't know what the F's stand for but it makes sense that they would be breaks in words. I don't see what else this puzzle could be. I think the reason the CM gave us the order of the letters is in case we end up missing a few because people aren't checking their email.

has anybody in the list been given a "Y", "F", "G" or a "B" as their letter? if not, the CM could just be filling in a few letters for us

My friend and I converted it any and every possible way we could and came up with nothing so I am almost certain it has to do with the email puzzle.

It decodes to the following:

FIRST TEST OF TEAM WORK COMPLETE WE'RE NOW READY FOR THE BIG SHOW

Das Llama was on the mark in the previous thread. With the phrase "Phase Two Opens with a Hostile Take Ovr" I was able to string in a sequence of letters. C means "Caps" and B meant "Bold" and the numbering system started from Licoricesniper as #1 and all the way to Blessedmercy as #32. Though there really is supposed to be 33 people and only two letters didn't fit the entire sentence (Big for example spelled BRG or something absurd) so since the rest of the sentences made sense but two letters, I simply guessed the rest.

Having an English degree I guess is finally paying off.

My best guess is C stands for cursive and B for Bold...
so his telling us to rearrange the mensage of follow the leader...
I guess we need to check which mensages have which format and the number states the "follow the leader" order.

Nachouru

EDIT: Nice zapparoni... can you tell us how you did it?

EDIT 2: sorry I didnt check the forums for a while... and didnt realise that was the way to do it... lol (but I was on the right path Razz )

Yeah, sorry guys, re-edited my post. I was so excited that I forgot to give an explanation *forehead slap*

Anyway, I fixed up my post. But you know, this was really a test of Teamwork. Had Jabroni not made the list, had some of us not sent in our letters, and etcetera etcetera...

Well, I think we should post this up on the FET forums so at least the Taylor family knows what's up.
