just throwing this out there

adding this to the whole wellrock cinemas theory...sam wellrock's name is obviously very similar to that of the actor sam rockwell who happened to star in a movie called "mercy" in which he holds someone's daughter for ransom in new york city (area code 212)...

i know, i know every big actor is in some sort of ransom movie and it's not a huge connection, but i just thought it was interesting....and i have not seen the movie so i don't know if one of the places he was holding her in was a movie theater or worked in a movie theater, but that would be quite interesting if so

Sam Wellrock

I thought Sam Wellrock sounds more like a Flinstones character.

 Max's BDay Code Question
where it came from

Christina gave out Andrew's usual password as Max903 to try on one of the videos on the site. You have to listen to them.

Previous posts, edits, etc.

Hi all,

For the past two days I've been silently reading every post. Yes, every one all the way back to page 1.

I have also sighed and rolled my eyes every time someone asks a question whose answer was posted numerous times in the past.

If you all take the time to read the previous posts you'll find the answers. If you take the time to read the emails posted on smh dot com you'll find the current password.

A little effort on your part will go a long way.

Finally, thanks to kona for the many, many edits you make to all the posts that come in.

Irrelevant?

On the video today, you'll notice that the "camara man" totally looses control of the camera when Andrew sways from what was obviously only meant to be said, and the other guy starts taping his mouth. I know it's probably irrelevant but, I thought it odd.

What is odd about that? That's exactly what I'd expect to happen.

going back to the day 1 video.. the napkin held up that says "OUTLANDISH DUET TRAP".. anyone find it odd that the words are lined up oddly?

OUTLANDISH
.....DUET
..TRAP

I think some of 'us' are making this too complicated for ourselves. Myself included. Sometimes you've just got to look at the obvious.

OUTLANDISH DUET TRAP

It has something to do with getting married, or having a wedding.

I know I had heard this before so now I am going to look it up, she isn't going to show it, and it not mean something, right?

LOL! toadie Rolling Eyes

Why would you expect that? He's in front of them and it's not like Andrew was "flaring" at the person with the camera. As a photographer, I can honestly say I've never done that...unless I'm bumped into.

door?

if you watch the kidnappers 1st video (not the kidnapping vid itself.. but the 1st one they taped) you can see a reflection of the light on the "door"... so the possibility of it being a vent is ruled out. think it could be an elevator door?

Because they were both startled and upset about what he said.

Way too much of a giveaway that what he said was significant.

Location, "Window" etc...
Are we just going in circles here???

Ok, first of all, the "window" being at different lengths from the floor I believe is inaccurate - it appears to be a "perspective shot" - note how the floor gets more narrow toward the back. (and yes, I cropped the picture again so I apparently need to disclaim that in advance...) Laughing

See the attached for an example - this is not an uncommon type thing in the world of photography at all - over thinking that positioning is merely spinning wheels...

Now as to what the "window" thing is - what about a dumbwaiter to a storage area? It is plausible in conjunction with the restaraunt theory...?

that could be.. although it does look like a full size door in the kidnappers 2nd video where you can actually see a lot of the frame (height wise).

ha. just noticed something else. in the video of the kidnapping if you look carefully just after the vid is put up in the top right corner when they go around the curve something is thrown out of the van.
