According to another forum, Choose Your Revolution is part of The Wyoming Incident.

Confirm / Deny?

The Forum -- dunno how to link to entries, but entry #8
Wyoming Incident Summary Post

The other rumor I stumbled across is that this is Digg's Kevin Rose's next venture, satisfying the "really big website" thing.

I made a blog, since I already have an ARG-related blogger account.
I find it really hard to write somethig good about the start of the revolution though.. I'm just too curious not too. Rolling Eyes

The counter has changed it's way of counting since yesterday. It now counts down a bigger number every second. I think it could be a sequence of 10-10-11.. But I'm staring myself dizzy, so I'm probably wrong.

I have no idea what this means.

notgordian, I Googled this thing, and found the same as you. There are also posts on various forums from people wondering what's going on (many of whom seem to have been treated very rudely IMHO), but it does give us a few more keys which I'll try to compile into another list later on.

EDIT - I've added it as a second sheet on that Google spreadsheet. One of the (possibly) more useful sites if found on my ferreting through the interweb was this blog, The Pop View, which has several keys added in the comments, links back here, but also this

Alright everyone... I've made mine as well.

http://hiddencodeseeker.blogspot.com

I just hope I'm allowed to participate. When I signed up, I mispelled my email address and so I won't receive any email correspondence from the site. I did email them about this and hope it gets corrected.

Also, if anyone else creates a blog or has one they haven't posted about, or that I just simply missed it; please send me a message so I can link to yours. Thanks!

While I'm not so sure this is an ARG, per se, it does seem to be an interesting distraction.

One common thread I see throughout the clues and instructions is "writing". Writing a blog, writing a play, writing a poem, writing a manifesto. The unique keys we are all receiving seem to represent different points of view. (Mine was "Agnostic Women from Vermont", btw.) Maybe the goal of this is just to get people to start writing, and therefore thinking. Thinking about things differently and creatively, instead of just accepting them as they are. That seemed to be one of the character's goals.

sidenote: at the time I posted this, the counter was counting down by increments of 13

I put my post on my site earlier (I refuse to call it a blog, although I think it probably is).
You'll find it at http://bes-t.co.uk/node/188

So that counter keeps changing increments? Presumably it's related to the number of signups. Maybe working out how the two relate to each other is one of the clues we're missing.

I assume the counter is some sort of countdown to a specific time(the time of the revolution?). It would make sense that more people joining in would bring about the revolution, whatever it is, sooner.

So if we want to bring about the revolution sooner, we need more people to join!

That's my interpretation, anyway.

That makes sense.

Are you the same Visitor as earlier in the thread? Why not register for the forums (it makes it easier for people to know who they're talking to Wink )

My key is: Buddhist professionals from New Hampshire

1. Einstein could have proven E=MC2 in three short lines. We'll show you we how to do it soon.

2. We are not famous, although many people know who we are.

3. We are pioneers. We do believe that Native American College Students from Cape Verde deserve a voice too, and that you deserve to hear it.

4. The more people who sign up for this revolution, the better it will be.

5. Specifically, the more friends of yours who sign up for this revolution, the better it will be for you.

6. We'll post the next set of clues on the blog entry that comes closest to telling us why your keys are so important after 10,000 people have signed up for this revolution (we anticipate this will be sometime late today). When deciphering the pattern, make sure to use ten unique keys (not found anywhere else on the web) from ten friends. It will help.

Good luck!

Ooooh, well done! If they reckon that they'll have over 10000 signups by later today, either there's gonna be a hell of a rush some time, or that lower counter isn't registering signups after all (it currently says 1077). So what is it counting? Unique keys issued maybe?

And 10 unique keys from 10 friends, that aren't from the web? I don't have that many friends, never mind ones who'll sign up for some weird thing just cos I say so!

Hahaha, exactly my thoughts. Laughing

This guy seems desperate for attention, what with trying to get all of us to recruit ten more people. (Incidentally, that could be where the 10K number comes from.)

Maybe we need to shanghai some folk from on these boards with a few private messages, or in chat perhaps? There must be 10 people who'd register to help us if we asked them. All we'd need to get them to do then is PM the keys instead of posting them anywhere, and see where that gets us. Unless anyone with a glut of pals appears and offers their help, that is Laughing
