SMH
sites not working

The only in-game site that seems to be working right now is Sonia's Blog. I can see why they would have to update both the save my husband site and the Akarm site if they were making minor changes to the way we have to do the puzzles without really changing the plot, but the only reason I see for them updating the News site is to make a Shyamalan like twist in the plot of the game. Also, the news site is what you would expect to be updated once in a while, but that's the only site that they haven't really changed anything on as of yet.

After reading TXVisitor's post,

I can also see why they would end the game. There was a little bit of human intervention, right guys? Even though it was they're own lack of security that made it so easy for us to interfere. I mean for real, a google cached list of all of the emails that they were ever going to send us. It doesn't get much sloppier than that.

Whoo! I thought it was just my computer....
not being able to access websites

You'd think they could update prior to 6AM EST since that is the time they said new emails would be sent and her [Christina's] site would be updated daily.
I am happy to know it isn't my computer on the fritz!
Damn thing is brand new!!

Has anyone 'heard' that they have stopped or are going to stop the game??

Probably wasn't anything anyone did ... they just can't figure out how to split the $25,000 prize among 25,000,000 winners. Confused

Re: Is it being questioned?

I've been searching since 6:15 EST, and cannot find any evidence to show that they are canceling. Anyone else?

Nah! I'll just keep checking every half hour or so and see what happens.

Haha, I hope they really shut it down.

I'm really hoping they shut the game down...I sent them a really nasty email about how you guys were HACKING the game and cheating your way through and I got a response saying they were aware of this and were taking "appropriate measures" to correct it. Even though I was participating I really hope they shut it down. At this rate with all of you CHEATERS we would have ended up with 10 cents per person.

Where in the world are the sites?!!!

Even tho I received today's Day 6 email from Christina, none of the sites ('cept for Sonia's blog) are opening. She said the new video was up, but there is nothing there!!!!

I guess they now have egg on their face to go along with the artichoke dip.

I'll be soooooooo upset if they stop the game. We've all invested so much time. Really. What did they think? That no one on the net would discuss it with anyone else? Had they done their research, they would have realized that things in the on line community spread faster than chicken pox amongst a classroom full of first graders.

If they stop the game it will be an injustice to us all. When it comes back up, there'll probably be some misnomer on there like no longer are you allowed to discuss the content with other players, or something.

If I get in anywhere, I'll let ya'll know asap! (Although this is probably good - it gives each of us a chance to interact with our families and take care of real life for a few hours!)

How is discussing the game amongst ourselves "cheating'? Most of us here haven't hacked into anything (although some have, and good for them. Show's they're smarter than myself, you, and the gamers!). Much of the information we've found was already on the internet. For example, in searching "Bea Rosy", my results came back with the google cached 8 day emails, a direct link to the security feed AND the fingerprints. All without my having to hack or look very far or very hard.

Honestly, did you think out of the entire population of America, that you'd be one of the 25 people to solve this, walking away with a thousand dollars? Get serious. They didn't make a game for rocket scientists. And it really wasn't all THAT challenging, anyway. Even without the discussions, many people would have figured out the clues on their own. I joined this game as a fun diversion from real life and enjoy chatting and sharing ideas. When you have a bag of M&M's, do you kep them all to yourself, or share the bag around so everyone can have a taste? This is the INTERNET !!!! People Talk here. People share. Even strangers. That's where the comaradarie comes from, and gives us all that warm feeling of having friends out there.

You don't need to be here if you are going to be a spoilsport and try to ruin our fun. Take the stick out of your behind and sit and relax for a while. You may find it enjoyable.
