Why don't we wait until we have the video and email for Day 5 or Day 6 puzzle. I'll make this the thread for that discussion (changing the topic to reflect).

We know that the PMs have made some changes throughout the week compared to what we found before the game started.

On a side note, can anyone pull the email addy from the video? 2 of them were obviously from the detective, but there was a 3rd email there with a different email addy.

So far, this game has been insanely easy and amateurish. Is it really going to stay this way or is there more to it that we're missing because we're walking along like puppies following a trail of kibble left for us while the steak and potatoes is off in another direction altogether?

Let's use this thread to discuss the clues from the phone number puzzle on Day 5.

Hey kona...or anyone else....I had a blonde moment this morning and I'd like to see how bad I screwed things up.

What time of day did any of you receive an email from the detective? The one about the numbers? Or did that even occur?

Here's why....I got up because of a sick kid at 4 am, and went to the site to see what was there....I totally spaced that I had to WAIT to get that email, and having seen the page with the list of propsed emails, I already knew the numbers and what they ciphered to. So I typed in the answer.

I have not received an email from the detective giving me the numbers. After typing in the answer, the pop up said, GOOD JOB etc, and I rec'd the usual confirmation email from Christine.

What do you think? What happened for those who paid attention and followed the rules? LOL!

Sassy

I got my email from the detective in the morning. It was waiting in my inbox when I got up (7:30a PST). I didn't look at the time stamp.
And I don't have access to my email from work. Sorry.

As long as you progressed and got your "Thanks" email from Christina, you should be fine.

Maybe someone will post the detectives email in this thread (for archival purposes) but I'll bet Remmiz will put it into the Day 5 Summary tonight.

Something that I noticed about the emails and texts. If you solve the day's puzzle at night, you will not get the actual emails and texts. Or say the first email is at 9am, then you solve it, you won't get any further text messages. I could be wrong about this, but that has been my experience.

Also sometimes the Archive messages disappear towards the end of the day, I'm guessing because they are getting ready for the next day. But anything the Detective sent through email should show up in the archives at some point, or if not it should be there tomorrow if you click on the Day 5 link and go back.

Hi new here been playing since day 1 and just joined the forum. I was wondering if anyone knows how many people are actually playing this. Also
was wondering if anyone knows if the puzzles will get hard closer to the end.

Hey folks, just found this site. I did not receive a day 5 email at all. I just went to the site. As the rest of you, I also did not receive a day 6 email. I figure with the prize being split, we will probably see some immensely low figure for the final winners.
