[META] Meet the PMs ... oops!
Please DO NOT contact them. Thank you.

Meet the PMs:
http://www.google.com/search?num=50&hl=en&q=cache%3Awww.savemyhusband.com%2Fm8_admin%2Fusers.php

EDIT: Please do not attempt to contact these people. They are out-of-game employees of the company producing this campaign. Click Here for more information (meta-spoilers). -SpaceBass

These links didn't work last week. I think they are being leaked by deep-focus.net, the PMs, to generate interest in the game. One of these addresses may be where they are holding Andrew.

Notice one name stands out: Sabrina Caluori! Could she be behind this whole game as an attempt to get back at Akarm for what they did to her?

Also, it is Sara Ott's birthday on Sunday. I tried calling her, and got a very cryptic voicemail. I'm trying to decipher it, and will post when I find out more.

EDIT: Added topic tag. And duplicated Spacely's plea in the description. --Phaedra

Cached Site

The addresse are real, and all of them in NY. Me thinks the rest of the group needs this info. There is not enough time left for one person to decode this but I would start trying to find 20 Jay Street, I think it has to ba hotel

This information is extremely out of game, as it lists contact information for the staff of the production team behind the Save My Husband project. It is interesting because it reveals the name of the company behind at least a major aspect of the campaign, but (and I cannot stress this enough)

PLEASE do not call, email, or harass the people disclosed. This is a mistake that frequently happens--it won't help progress anything, and I'm sure they have enough on their plates at the moment.

NOT SURE

I just saw JonB's post about this cached page and it looks fishy at first glance. Has anyone tried calling these numbers or emailing these addresses? They may be ingame.

Those are not IG. Those are folks beta testing the system in April & May (before the game went live).

A few of them used deep-focus.net email addys.

I know the dates and email addresses... but that doesn't prove it's not ingame. Maybe we should call them and ask? Laughing

actually..I did the next best thing. I did a phone directory search and found them to be real -life OOG details.

and by the way...anyone caught disseminating personal information which could be in violation of the federal Privacy Act can literally end up in Federal prison or be fined major amounts of money. You won't see me re-posting anything with that info. I like my freedom too much Exclamation

AGAIN, this could still be ingame, just not smart because people will abuse this information. We would have to officially hear that it's not part of the game from the company.

ANSWER ME THIS: Why do the cached answers ONLY GO UP TO DAY 6? I bet you didn't notice that!

It may be ingame but again, not a great idea using real info.

Deep Focus: If you want to hire someone who can help you, send me a post! Wink

PS - Looks like a lot of people have just given up

No, there is no possibilty.... this is not part of the game. I actually can't see anything that would even make you think this is somehow related.

Before the game was advertised they must have had all this information (beta-testers, and list of messages) unprotected in the "m8_admin" folder and that's how it got cached by google. That's why it's called admin, because it was intended to stay behind the "curtain" of the game. And, the message cache does go up to day 8 as does testers page.

Even though I haven't been a good example for this with my own share of snooping, I don't think it's right to throw around these people's information and say it might be part of the game. It's just going to cause them unnecessary hassle with emails and calls.

You didn't read my messages. "The ANSWERS" cache only go up to day 6. I posted a screenshot and link to prove it. The last answer is the URL for the video feed with the old URL (x11).

As far as the M8 admin "users," think what you want but I am not convinced.

I agree about the cached answers only going up to day 6. A lot of us have been thinking that the PMs are totally clueless -- but I think we're missing the fact that, in a way, they have done their job flawlessly. Their job was to generate buzz, and get people playing. What better way than to "leak" information to google cache before the game starts? They did tell us to search for names of people in the game -- which leads you to the google cache!

Also, its too much of a coincidence that Sabrina Caulori was one of the first users to sign up, and Frank Caulori (her brother) is totally in game.

20 Jay street is the deep focus headquarters. Check out http://www.deep-focus.net/contact.php. Notice that the picture says Jay street, but the text says Hudson. I think they are trying to throw us off the trail.

My theory is that Deep Focus inc, a real world viral marketing firm, kidnapped Andrew Goodis (a fictional person) to generate Buzz for CourtTV and Applebees -- but they went too far. We are going to find Andrew at one of the Deep Focus locations. I live in Venice, CA, so I am going to do some digging around their Abbot-Kinney location.

I've been calling those numbers, but the people I talk to seem very angry, and generally hang up on me. Why are they so angry, if they are really out of game? I tried calling one man, and saying different in-game names or phrases, hoping he would give me some clue. I couldn't figure out what the right phrase is that we will need to say.
One man started swearing at me (not very appropriate for a family oriented game!), and yelled "Don't call this number you $%@!@ idiot" before hanging up. It seems they are trying to hide something.

I guess we'll find the importance of these phone numbers by Day 8.

I can only hope you're being sarcastic. Go ahead and look for Andrew, maybe he's in your back yard?

LOL I love it! But you have to ask them if they work for DEEP FOCUS! Call 'em all back!
